Steward's Report
Ringo Dingo was a late scratching at 12:24pm by Order of Stewards on Veterinary advice. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Aston Lydia was quick to begin. Lil'Scallywag was slow to begin. Lil'Scallywag was checked off Stormy Reign soon after the start and stumbled as a result. Explosive Flame and Snow Good collided on the first turn checking Explosive Flame. Explosive Flame brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Snow Good and Stormy Reign collided on the home turn. Kayla Las, Explosive Flame, Stormy Reign and Snow Good collided entering the home striaght checking Kayla Las and Snow Good, severely checking Stormy Reign and causing Explosive Flame to fall. Tumble And Dry was checked off Aston Lydia entering the home straight checking Tumble And Dry.
Explosive Flame was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left radius and ulna and was humanely euthanased.
