Light 'Em Up and El Marny collided soon after the start. Dundas Boy, Hez Got Nitro, Light 'Em Up and El Marny collided approaching the first turn, checking El Marny, Hez Got Nitro and Dundas Boy and severely checking Light 'Em Up which stumbled and lost ground as a result. Black And Pretty and El Marny collided approaching the first turn, checking El Marny. Dundas Boy and Light 'Em Up collided on the home turn.
