Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to the trainer of Will He Bolt, Mr. F. Tasca, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts. Mr. Tasca stated that he has been trouble with the greyhounds wrists which he feels he has now rectified. Will He Bolt was approved to race in 100mm tapes on both wrists.
Stewards spoke to the handler of Ibrox Digger, Mr. J. Clarke, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts. Mr. Clarke stated that the greyhound had been spelling due to illness. Mr Clarke also declared a new weight of 36.4kgs in accoardance with GAR39(2). Ibrox Digger last raced at 37.9kgs.
Five Star Knocka and Carlie Spitz were slow to begin. Black Selandra, Classique and Soldier Spy collided soon after the start, checking Black Selandra and Classique. Black Selandra and Classique crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark. Black Selandra and Classique collided approaching the 250m mark and again at the 150m mark.
Will He Bolt was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triceps and left pencil muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
