Stewards spoke to the trainer of Diablo Keroma, Mr. A. Ware, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between starts. Mr Ware stated that the greyhound injured a fibula after his last run at Cranbourne on the 25th of January.
Albert's Patch, Diablo Keroma and Black Senor were slow to begin. Elfie, Black Senor and Claire Rose collided soon after the start, checking Black Senor and Claire Rose.
