Chili Delight was quick to begin.  Don's Chief and Division collided soon after the start.  Chili Delight crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Ya There, Senni Ricky and Division.  Crackerjack Cam and Don's Chief collided approaching the first turn.  Senni Ricky and Division collided on the first turn checking Division which contacted the running rail as a result.  Crackerjack Cam, Don's Chief and Ya There collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Cam and severely checking Don's Chief.  Division checked off All Tucker approaching the home turn.  Crackerjack Cam and Division collided in the home straight.

Don's Chief was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to its right foot and abrasions to its left hind leg.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Division was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Crafty Diamond and Held Hostage were slow to begin.  Got Me Runnin' crossed to the outside entering the back straight checking Held Hostage and causing Sir Fire to fall; Held Hostage tailed off as a result.  Da Swan and Western Reign collided on the second turn checking Western Reign and Moto Sos.  Primal Biz and Moto Sos collided approaching the home turn checking Moto Sos and Crafty Diamond.

Got Me Runnin' was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Held Hostage was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Sir Fire was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right thigh.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Ms. K. Repia, the handler of the greyhound Got Me Runnin' regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the back straight.

Roadrunner Thief, Cosmic Elle and Roll 'Em Zac collided soon after the start checking Cosmic Elle.  Transylvania checked off Roadrunner Thief approching the first turn checking Super Ballotelli.  Transylvania and Magic Bunny collided approaching the first turn checking Magic Bunny and Super Ballotelli. Roadrunner Thief checked off Roll 'Em Zac approaching the home turn checking Transylvania.  Roll 'Em Zac and How Bizarre collided several times approaching the home turn checking How Bizarre.  Super Ballotelli raced wide entering the home straight.  Stress Star and Cosmic Elle collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Moody regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Roadrunner Thief.  Stewards directed that Roadrunner Thief be boxed first in future events.

All Bolts was a late scratching at 11:07am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. R. Tolson was fined the sum of $100.

Stewards spoke to Mr. F. Morris, trainer of the greyhound Final Drill with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Final Drill last raced on 8th Jan 2015. Mr. Morris stated that the greyhound had been spelled due to injury.

Mystique Speedy was slow to begin.  Peyton Paradise and Mouth For War collided on the first turn checking Mouth For War and severely checking Spa Primrose and Final Drill.

Final Drill was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Carlanna Lois was a late scratching at 8:34am due to an injury to its pencil muscle (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Bull, trainer of the greyhound Carlanna Lois and reminded him of his responsibilites pursuant to GAR 23(1)(a) in ensuring that his greyhound is free of injury prior to the appointed scratching time.

Mabuti Girl was quick to begin.  Kilty's Tiger and Hotshot Booker were slow to begin.  Parkfield Shower checked off Mabuti Girl approaching the first turn.  Kilty's Tiger, Hotshot Booker and Don's Bullet collided on the first turn checking Hotshot Booker.

Parkfield Shower was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to its right hind leg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Pason Sander and Twirly Bird were slow to begin.  Hook Him In, Wally Matuszek and Fiesty Fairy collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn.  Hook Him In and Fiesty Fairy collided in the back straight. and raced wide approaching the second turn.  Pason Sander and Wally Matuszek collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn.  Tina Two and Pepper Fozz collided on the home turn.  Speed Chill and Twirly Bird collided in the home straight.  Hook Him In raced wide in the home straight.

Dalshabae and Fancy Agro collided approaching the first turn.  Flying Hannah checked off Seabrook Shelley approaching the first turn.  Just A Dot crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Seabrook Shelley.  Soft Ballad and Dynamo's Girl collided on the first turn checking Dynamo's Girl.   Dalshabae and Crymelon Pink collided approaching the second turn.  Dalshabae checked off Flying Hannah on the second turn.  Fancy Agro and Seabrook Shelley collided approaching the home turn.

Dalshabae was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Star Titan and Colloquial were slow to begin.  Star Titan checked off Miss Belena soon after the start.  Star Titan crossed to the outside approaching the first turn checking Terrorizer.  Star Titan and Terrorizer collided approaching the first turn.  Jack Winter crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Mr. Optimistic, Kid Famechon and Star Titan.

Uncool Albert was slow to begin.  Annabella Girl crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Locked Out and Twycroft Betty.  Looney Lucy and Annabella Girl collided on the first turn checking Annabella Girl, Save Geronimo, Locked Out and Dee Jay's Sniper.  Jetgun and Uncool Albert collided on the first turn. Save Geronimo checked off Dee Jay's Sniper on the home turn.

Twycroft Betty was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its left front wrist and left thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Pequeno Rayo was slow to begin.  Spa Peter, Ladies Kay and Thanks Dorothy collided soon after the start checking Ladies Kay.  Spa Peter checked off Thanks Dorothy approaching the first turn.  Flyin' Les Fergi checked off Contrive on the first turn.  Contrive and Thanks Dorothy collided approaching the home turn.  Spa Peter raced wide entering the home straight.  Ladies Kay and Thanks Dorothy collided approaching the winning post.

Spanky's Thunder and Ouch The Rainbow were slow to begin.  Lektra Kirky, Where's Salma and Ouch The Rainbow collided on the first turn checking Lektra Kirky and Where's Salma.  Spanky's Thunder and Ouch The Rainbow collided approaching the home turn checking Spanky's Thunder and severely checking Ouch The Rainbow.

Ouch The Rainbow was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 12, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Pingu and Class Aire were slow to begin.  Cosmic Demon and Coco Savi collided soon after the start checking Cosmic Demon.  Pingu, Tigress Eight and Class Aire collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.

Cosmic Demon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right shoulder and right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Satisfactory Trial

Why Not Les trialled over the 450 metre distance from box 8, weight 32.8kgs.  The greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 25.81. The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 0.5 lengths.  Why Not Les was cleared.
