Crackerjack Cam and Don's Chief collided approaching the first turn. Senni Ricky and Division collided on the first turn checking Division which contacted the running rail as a result. Crackerjack Cam, Don's Chief and Ya There collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Cam and severely checking Don's Chief. Division checked off All Tucker approaching the home turn. Crackerjack Cam and Division collided in the home straight.
Don's Chief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to its right foot and abrasions to its left hind leg. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
