Steward's Report
M Stanley, trainer of Miss Shirleen redeclared a new weight of 32.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Miss Shirleen last raced at 33.9kgs.
Stewards spoke to Ms. N. Stanley trainer of Miss Shirleen, with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Miss Shirleen last raced on 21st January 2015. Ms. Stanley stated that Miss Shirleen initially had a break from racing due to an illness and since returning to training the greyhound had suffered an injury to its hip and subsequently its hock. Ms. Stanley added that she has slowly progressed with Miss Shirleen since both setbacks and has given the greyhound a number of trials before tonight's event.
Frattini crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Deli Allen and Lead Into Demise. Rugall crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Pretty Bale, Got Held Up and Miss Shirleen. Got Held Up and Deli Allen collided approaching the home turn, checking Got Held Up.
