A pre-race sample was taken from Tendency.
Oriental Lotus, Tzar Norma and Senor Vee Bee collided soon after the start. Oriental Lotus and Tzar Norma collided at the 300 metre mark. Tendency crossed to the rail at the 300 metre mark. Oriental Lotus and Tzar Norma collided several times from approaching the 250 metre mark to the 150 metre mark. Ten Grand Large checked off Tendency approaching the 100 metre mark.
Zipping Tank was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to R. Johnson, catching pen attendant, and reminded him of his responsibilities after the inadvertently bumped Zipping Tank with the catching pen gate after the greyhound had entered the catching pen.
