Shrek's Junior was slow to begin.  Oscar, Qashqai and Boofa Jack collided soon after the start.  Turbo Surf checked off Lisburn Star soon after the start; Turbo Surf raced wide as a result.  Turbo Surf and Simply Maybe collided approaching the 250 metre mark checking both greyhounds.  Turbo Surf, Boofa Jack and Simply Maybe collided at the 250 metre mark checking Turbo Surf and Simply Maybe.  Turbo Surf and Simply Maybe collided approaching the 200 metre mark.  Roll 'Em High and Oscar collided at the 200 metre mark and again at the 150 metre mark.  Lisburn Star, Roll 'Em High and Oscar collided at the 100 metre mark.

The Judges incorrectly semaphored this race as being Race 2. This was corrected prior to the All Clear being given.

Dee Cid and Aston Agile were slow to begin.  Rose To Fame and Arvo's Steva collided soon after the start.  Chloe's Entity checked off Arvo's Steva soon after the start.  Dromore's Opal checked off Son Of Nahwee soon after the start and crossed to the outside as a result.

Rose To Fame was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 9, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

G. Howell, trainer of Love To Love redeclared a new weight of 31.6kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Love To Love last raced at 30.5kgs.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Howell, Trainer of the greyhound Love To Love regarding the extended period of time between races. Mr Howell stated that the greyhound was returning to race after suffering from a shoulder injury.

Bozumolu was slow to begin.  Mincey Moo, To A Degree, Blue Away, Love To Love and We Froff Dat collided soon after the start checking Mincey Moo, To A Degree, Blue Away and Love To Love.  Mincey Moo and Blue Away collided at the 300 metre mark.  Mincey Moo and Early Violet collided approaching the 250 metre mark.  Claire Rose and Blue Away collided approaching the 250 metre mark.  Claire Rose checked off Blue Away approaching th 50 metre mark. Bozumolu and Blue Away collided approaching the winning post.  To A Degree and Early Violet collided approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Mr J.Nicholls, catching pen attendant, and reminded him of his responsibilities after he failed to ensure that the rear gate of the catching pen was securely fastened, resulting in a number of greyhounds escaping the catching pen. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Invictus Ash.

Inter Lucy and Aqua Morgan collided soon after the start.  Inter Lucy crossed to the outside approaching the 300 metre mark.  Elfie checked off Aqua Morgan at the 300 metre mark checking Aqua Morgan.  Lika Surprize crossed to the outside at the 300 metre mark checking Invictus Ash, Inter Lucy, Inter Sandra and Cosmic Demon.  Lika Surprize and Invictus Ash collided at the 250 metre mark.  Lika Surprize and Inter Sandra collided at the 150 metre mark and again at the 100 metre mark checking Lika Surprize.

Elfie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right wrist and right hip.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Inter Lucy, the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr K. Irby, representitive of the greyhound Yabba Dabba Dee regarding the extended period of time between races. Mr Irby stated that the greyhound was returning to race after suffering from a back muscle injury.

Next Grange and Yabba Dabba Dee were slow to begin.  Yabba Dabba Dee crossed to the outside soon after the start.  High Commando and Sultan Of Swing collided approaching the 250 metre mark.  Silver Rockstar checked off Topper Harley at the 250 metre mark.  Topper Harley and Nah Wee's Girl collided approaching the 150 metre mark.

A sample was taken from Splash Of White, the winner of the event. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Tendency.

Oriental Lotus, Tzar Norma and Senor Vee Bee collided soon after the start.  Oriental Lotus and Tzar Norma collided at the 300 metre mark.  Tendency crossed to the rail at the 300 metre mark.  Oriental Lotus and Tzar Norma collided several times from approaching the 250 metre mark to the 150 metre mark.  Ten Grand Large checked off Tendency approaching the 100 metre mark.

Zipping Tank was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to R. Johnson, catching pen attendant, and reminded him of his responsibilities after the inadvertently bumped Zipping Tank with the catching pen gate after the greyhound had entered the catching pen. 

See You Win and Poacher Flash were slow to begin.  See You Win crossed to the outside at the 300 metre mark.  Hot Blooded and Major Talent collided approaching the 250 metre mark.

Poacher Flash was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its lower back, right calf and a grazed left stopper pad. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Hardaway Law, the winner of the event.

I'm Pumped and Jungle Warfare were slow to begin.  I'm Pumped crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Jungle Warfare.  Pop Wright and Encee Eye Gibbs collided at the 300 metre mark.  Dozer Tron and Hello Sunshine collided at the 150 metre mark.  Dozer Tron, Hello Sunshine and Encee Eye Gibbs collided approaching the winning post.

Lisburn Gem and About To Peak collided soon after the start.  Major Crush and Betty Baker collided approaching the 250 metre mark.  Betty Baker checked off Ace Hendrix approaching the 250 metre mark and crossed to the outside as a result.  Cavalia and Lisburn Gem collided approaching the 200 metre mark. Cavalia galloped on the heels of Big Jake at the 200 metre mark.  Ace Hendrix crossed to the outside at the 200 metre mark.  Ace Hendrix, Major Crush and Cavalia collided approaching the 150 metre mark.  Major Crush and Ace Hendrix collided approaching the winning post.

A sample was taken from About To Peak, the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Hope, Trainer of the greyhound My Senorita regarding the extended period of time between races. Mr Hope stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a season spell.

This race was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to a harness race at Maryborough running behind time.

A pre-race sample was taken from Aerial Blitz.

Oscar's Chance and Zafonic Zjahdi were slow to begin.  Kosmik King and My Senorita collided soon after the start and again at the 250 metre mark.  Ketut's Kaput and Sofa So Good collided approaching the 250 metre mark.  My Senorita and Zafonic Zjahdi collided approaching the 150 metre mark checking My Senorita.  Kosmik King and Oscar's Chance collided approaching the winning post.

My Senorita was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained lower back soreness.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

M. Groom, trainer of Mr. Moo redeclared a new weight of 38.3kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Mr. Moo last raced at 36.7kgs.

Stewards spoke to Mrs M. Groom, Trainer of the greyhound Mr. Moo regarding the extended period of time between races. Mrs Groom stated that the greyhound was returning to race after suffering from a groin injury.

Pod's Elect was slow to begin.  Time To Embrace and Alderaan collided approaching the 200 metre mark.  Looney Lucy, Ima Legend and Mr. Moo collided approaching the 50 metre mark.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Pod's Elect became dislodged during the running of the event.

Stewards spoke to Mr J. Booker, representative of the greyhound Select What regarding the extended period of time between races. Mr Booker stated that the greyhound was returning to race after a seasonal spell.

Black Samsara, Blast Away and Select What collided soon after the start.  Blast Away, Select What and Explosive Lass collided approaching the 250 metre mark checking Select What.  Castle Black and Mr. Smart collided approaching the 150 metre mark.  Blast Away and Castle Black collided approaching the 100 metre mark checking Castle Black and Explosive Lass.  Black Samsara checked off Mr. Smart approaching the winning post.  Select What and Castle Black collided approaching the winning post.  Blast Away and Mr. Smart collided approaching the winning post.
