Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to C Hudson, trainer of Star Titan, with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between racing. Star Titan last raced on 29 January 2015. Mr Hudson stated that Star Titan had suffered numerous injuries which had resulted in a drop in form. Mr Hudson has worked on the greyhound and believes that the greyhound has been trialing well and is ready to resume racing. Stewards noted his comments.
West Mae and Bad Boy Brutus were quick to begin. Bone Crusher was slow to begin. Bad Boy Brutus crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Advice Plenty and Rich Azz Yeew. Save Geronimo crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Star Titan and Cullquin Jake. Bad Boy Brutus, Cullquin Jake and Star Titan collided approaching the first turn. Bone Crusher, Advice Aplenty and Rich Azz Yeew collided on the first turn, severely checking Bone Crusher, Cullquin Jake and Bad Boy Brutus. Star Titan checked off Rich Azz Yeew approaching the home turn. Advice Aplenty and Save Geronimo collided approaching the home turn. West Mae and Rich Azz Yew raced wide in the home straight.
