Deep Rock was slow to begin.  Demo Lad and Acola Ebony collided approaching the first turn.  Hotlips Matilda crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Giddy Up and All Bolts.  All Bolts and Demo Lad collided on the back straight, checking Demo Lad.  Peyton Paradise checked off Irish Sparkle approaching the first turn.  Hotlips Matilda and Giddy Up collided approaching the home turn, checking Giddy Up.  Deep Rock raced wide in the home straight.

Little Bit More was slow to begin.  Cosmic Kiwi, Ladies Kay, Bradfield and Roman Boy collided approaching the first turn, checking Cosmic Kiwi and Ladies Kay.  Regal Cleo checked off Spanky's Thunder on the first turn, checking Regal Cleo, Bradfield, Ladies Kay and Cosmic Kiwi.  Cosmic Kiwi and Ladies Kay collided approaching the home turn.  Ladies Kay raced wide in the home straight.  Regal Cleo checked off Bradfield in the home straight.

Zelemar Steel and Star Ripper were slow to begin.  Jack's Legend, Harvest Gold and Barn A Shakin collided approaching the first turn, checking Jack's Legend and Barn A Shakin.  Harvest Gold checked off Jack Winter on the first turn.  Slipaway Simba checked off Jack's Legend approaching the home turn.  Star Ripper raced wide in the home straight.

Dirk And Rosie was slow to begin.  King Enright checked off Who Dey soon after the start.  Pentapod checked off Olive's Gift on the first turn.  Who Dey and Olive's Gift collided on the first turn.  King Enright and Dirk And Rosie collided on the home turn, and again several times in the home straight.

Go Wild Phil and Don Fire were very slow to begin (Go Wild Phil 3 lengths, Don Fire by 4 lengths).  Baroness Tippy crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Dana Archie, Don's Bullet, Mr. Optimistic and Stolen Gem.  Mr. Optimistic, Dana Archie and Baroness Jill collided on the first turn.  Dana Archie checked off Mr. Optimistic entering the home straight.  Don Fire raced wide in the home straight.  Dana Archie checked off Mr. Optimistic approaching the winning post.

Railway Smokey and Granville's Call collided soon after the start.  Railway Smokey, Last Boy Scout, Jungle Warfare and Flippin' Good collided soon after the start, checking Flippin' Good.  Lister Bale and Last Boy Scout collided several times approaching the first turn.  Granville's Call, Jungle Warfare and Ludwig Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Jungle Warfare.  Granville's Call and Ludwig Bale collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Granville's Call.  Granville's Call and Jungle Warfare collided approaching the home turn, checking Granville's Call.  Last Boy Scout and Black Beard collided approaching the winning post.

Granville's Call was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right hamstring and a fractured right metatarsal, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Lulu Noir was quick to begin.  Black And Loud and Dundas Bomber were slow to begin.  Corgi Cry and Pingu collided several times approaching the first turn.  Words Out crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Dundas Bomber, Frizzle Izzle, Black And Loud and Magic Court.  Words Out and Frizzle Izzle collided on the first turn, checking Frizzle Izzle and Pingu, and severely checking Corgi Cry.

Black And Loud was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to N Perkins, the trainer of the greyhound Black And Loud.  Stewards deemed the performance of Black And Loud unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Black And Loud must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kilty's Tiger was slow to begin.  Thundering Star, Valentine Belle and Santa collided soon after the start, checking Santa.  Tigress Eight crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Magic Kara.  Blue Jager Light checked off Tigress Eight approaching the home turn.  Santa checked off Kilty's Tiger approaching the home turn.  Valentine Belle raced wide on the home turn.

Dee Jay's Sniper, Eumeralla Danny and Key Largo Prince were slow to begin.  Dee Jay's Sniper, High Alimony, Diamond Minx and Sparking Kitty collided soon after the start.  Classy Capri crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Sparkling Kitty, Diamond Minx and High Alimony.  Key Largo Prince crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Super Leggera, Eumeralla Danny and Classy Capri.  Dee Jay's Sniper and Sparkling Kitty collided approaching the home turn.  Dee Jay's Sniper and Classy Capri collided entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to C Hudson, trainer of Star Titan, with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between racing.  Star Titan last raced on 29 January 2015.  Mr Hudson stated that Star Titan had suffered numerous injuries which had resulted in a drop in form.  Mr Hudson has worked on the greyhound and believes that the greyhound has been trialing well and is ready to resume racing.  Stewards noted his comments.

West Mae and Bad Boy Brutus were quick to begin.  Bone Crusher was slow to begin.  Bad Boy Brutus crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Advice Plenty and Rich Azz Yeew.  Save Geronimo crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Star Titan and Cullquin Jake.  Bad Boy Brutus, Cullquin Jake and Star Titan collided approaching the first turn.  Bone Crusher, Advice Aplenty and Rich Azz Yeew collided on the first turn, severely checking Bone Crusher, Cullquin Jake and Bad Boy Brutus.  Star Titan checked off Rich Azz Yeew approaching the home turn.  Advice Aplenty and Save Geronimo collided approaching the home turn.  West Mae and Rich Azz Yew raced wide in the home straight.
