Kilcolegan Cross was quick to begin.  Cambridge Prince and Small One were slow to begin.  Seeking Justice and Sacred Diamond collided on the first turn checking Seeking Justice.  Sacred Diamond and Zipping Basil collided approaching the second turn.  Seeking Justice, Sacred Diamond and Zipping Basil collided on the second turn.  Cambridge Prince and Zipping Basil collided on the third turn and again approaching the fourth turn.  Sacred Diamond checked off Zipping Basil on the fourth turn checking both greyhounds.  Cambridge Prince galloped on the heels of He's No Jet approaching the home turn and stumbled as a result.  Zipping Basil and He's No Jet collided on the home turn.

Cambridge Prince was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Quantum Bale was slow to begin.  Sonic Dash and Gaucho collided soon after the start.  Ballerino and Repayments collided approaching the first turn.  Ballerino, Repayments and Sacramento Sal collided on the first turn.  Repayments checked off Sacramento Sal approaching the second turn.  Sonic Dash and Gaucho collided on the third turn.

Kilkee Flex was quick to begin.  Shall She Rock and Rumero Reason were slow to begin.  Midnight Flynn and Mademoiselle Sox collided approaching the first turn.  Shall She Rock, Berry Blitz and Yanick Allen collided on the first turn.  Rumero Reason and Berry Blitz collided entering the front straight.  Mademoiselle Sox and Berry Blitz collided on the third turn.  Mademoiselle Sox and Yanick Allen collided on the fifth turn checking Yanick Allen.

Yanick Allen was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 11.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left front wrist and right back muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Southwood Denis was slow to begin.  Southwood Denis and Dark Jameson collided soon after the start, approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Lambda Bale and Boxhead collided on the first turn.  Weston East and Boxhead collided on the third turn checking Boxhead.  Southwood Denis checked off Weston East approaching the home turn checking Boxhead.

Rowdy Ronda was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Braniac was late scratching at 4.42pm due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dashing Roman was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Allen Icarus checked off Galactic Viper on the first turn.  Motangi checked off Le Luca on the third turn.  Le Luca checked off Memphis Jookin' on the third turn.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Stewards today were to conduct a scheduled inquiry with licenced trainer, Ms N Davis regarding the circumstances pertaining to the late scratching of Dorian Bale from Race 9 at the Cranbourne Greyhound Meeting on 6.5.15 after the incorrect greyhound was presented at kennelling. Stewards received a telephone call from Ms Davis this afternoon stating she was unable to attend. Stewards accepted her explanation and have advised her that the inquiry will be re-scheduled at a date to be confirmed.
