Turbine was slow to begin. Navaho checked off Kang Bale soon after the start. Central Road, Real Baroque and Kurzke collided on the first turn checking Real Baroque. Central Road and Kurzke collided entering the back straight checking Kurzke. Navaho galloped on the heels of Kurzke approaching the second turn. Central Road, Kang Bale and Fearsome Warrior collided on the second turn checking Central Road, Real Baroque and Turbine and severely checking Kang Bale. Central Road and Turbine collided approaching the home turn checking Central Road. Real Baroque and Central Road collided entering the home straight. Turbine raced wide in the home straight.
