Mr. Stealer, Marmasette and Lord Kitchener were quick to begin. Leo Speedwagon, Trevs Pride and Diamond Express were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Marmasette and Lord Kitchener collided on the first turn checking Lord Kitchener and Derby Dream. Leo Speedwagon checked off Marmasette on the first turn. Blue Marmion, Marmasette and Diamond Express collided on the second turn checking Blue Marmion and Marmasette. Leo Speedwagon checked off Blue Marmion on the home turn.

Runaway Shaye was slow to begin. Apatchy Racer, Adamant, Mouth For War and Steel Fury collided soon after the start checking Adamant. Claire Rose, Runaway Shaye and Adamant collided on the first turn checking Runaway Shaye. Mouth For War, Steel Fury and Adamant collided on the first turn checking Steel Fury and Adamant. Runaway Shaye checked off Steel Fury approaching the home turn.

Mewstone Rocket and Dura Mater were slow to begin. Moonlight Lace and Kraken Nitro collided soon after the start. Kraken Nitro and Can't See me collided on the first turn. Rules Apply, Kraken Nitro, Dura Mater, Can't See Me and Lace Parasol collided entering the back straight checking Rules Apply, Can't See Me and Kraken Nitro. Kraken Nitro galloped on the heels of Can't See Me on the second turn severely checking Can't See Me which pulled up as a result.

Mewstone Rocket was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a split to the right fore webbing. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed. 

Kraken Nitro was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right groin injury and a coupling injury. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Can't See Me was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right tricep injury. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.

Cullquin Sam was slow to begin. Sahara, Fragility and Velocity Saphire collided soon after the start checking Velocity Saphire. Pason Sander, Sahara and Velocity Saphire collided in the back straight checking Pason Sander, Sahra, Velocity Saphire and Culquin Sam. Cullquin Sam checked off Velocity Saphire on the third turn.

Cullquin Sam was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left hind toes. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Mi Diablo, Cambridge Prince and Esparza were slow to begin. Ikari Spark, Cambridge Prince, Prancing Magic, Esparza and Run Right Back collided soon after the start checking Cambridge Prince, Prancing Magic and Esparza. Ikari Spark and Run Right Back collided on the first turn. Black Velcro and Mi Diablo collided on the first turn. Ikari Spark, Cambridge Prince and Esparza collided on the second turn checking Esparza. Black Velcro checked off Cambridge Prince in the back straight. Black Velco checked off Esparza on the third turn. Cambridge Prince checked off Run On Rosey on the home turn and collided with Prancing Magic. Cambridge Prince and Prancing Magic collided approaching the winning post.

Octagon Girl was quick to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start. Valladares was slow to begin. Haich Two Mo, Hail Storming and Harry Keeping collided on the first turn checking Hail Storming, Harry Keeping and Cosmic Lily.

Acola Ebony was quick to begin. It's A Steal and Palm Tee were slow to begin. Maverick Blondie, Alouette Magic and Ryan Brook collided on the first turn. It's A Steal checked off Ryan Brook on the first turn. Waynewright checked off Acola Ebony on the first turn. Alouette Magic and Ryan Brook collided approaching the second turn. Alouette Magic checked off Acola Ebony on the second turn. Acola Ebony checked off Palm Tee approaching the home turn. It's A Steal and Ryan Brook collided on the home turn. Palm Tee eased in the home straight checking Waynewright.

Palm Tee was vetted and re-vetted following event 9. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. G. James, the handler of the greyhound Palm Tee regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Palm Tee with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. James pleaded guilty to the charge, Palm Tee was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Gravitation and Paranoia were slow to begin. Light 'Em Up, Deadly Vane, Lister Bale and Tantanoola collided soon after the start. Noosa Jet, Two Stroke Pat, Light 'Em Up, Deadly Vane, Lister Bale and Tantanoola collided on the first turn checking Deadly Vane, Tantanoola and Two Stroke Pat. Light 'Em Up, Lister Bale and Gravitation collided entering the back straight checking Lister Bale. Paranoia checked off Two Stroke Pat approaching the home turn. Two Stroke Pat and Light 'Em Up collided in the home straight.

Bombora Flash, Coota's Cazaly and Rip It were slow to begin. Coota's Cazaly and Jadeite collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Rip It checked off Coota's Cazaly approaching the first turn. Crucify and Locked Out collided on the first turn checking Crucify and Bombora Flash. Crucify and Rozehill Maisie collided approaching the home turn checking Rozehill Maisie. Jadeite and Bombora Flash collided approaching the home turn. Crucify and Bombora Flash collided several times in the home straight and again approaching the winning post. Rip It and Rozehill Maisie collided in the home straight checking Rozehill Maisie.

Turbine was slow to begin. Navaho checked off Kang Bale soon after the start. Central Road, Real Baroque and Kurzke collided on the first turn checking Real Baroque. Central Road and Kurzke collided entering the back straight checking Kurzke. Navaho galloped on the heels of Kurzke approaching the second turn. Central Road, Kang Bale and Fearsome Warrior collided on the second turn checking Central Road, Real Baroque and Turbine and severely checking Kang Bale. Central Road and Turbine collided approaching the home turn checking Central Road. Real Baroque and Central Road collided entering the home straight. Turbine raced wide in the home straight.

Spring Missile was quick to begin. Mo Keeping, Hardaway Law, Meadows One and Collect collided soon after the start checking Hardaway Law and Meadows One. Planetman checked off Doing Chewing approaching the first turn. Collect galloped on the heels of Tiny Bit Left on the first turn checking Tiny Bit Left. Hardaway Law and Tiny Bit Left collided on the first turn. Hardaway Law, Tiny Bit Left and Meadows One collided approaching the home turn checking Tiny Bit left and Meadows One.
