Black Kaspa and Dick Dastardly raced wide on the second turn.  Time Dimension and Black Kaspa collided on the third turn.  Dancing Pumps checked off Hashtag Yolo entering the back straight.  Texan Star and Hashtag Yolo collided on the fifth turn checking Dancing Pumps. Dick Dastardly was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound suffered from inflammed tonsils, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Ryno's Raider and Ikaku Bale were slow to begin.  Lakerville stumbled at box rise and lost ground as a result.  Rockabilly King and Cosmic Wise collided on the first turn.  Shanlyn Patch and Jokowi collided on the first turn, several times in the front straight and again on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Shanlyn Patch and Jokowi collided on the third turn and several times in the back straight checking Shanlyn Patch.  Ryno's Raider and Cosmic Wise collided approaching the home turn.  Shanlyn Patch and Jokowi collided approaching the home turn, on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Jokowi.  Rockabilly King, Ryno's Raider and Ikaku Bale collided approaching the winning post.

Jokowi was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards were unable to obtain a sample at arrival on the course therefore a post-race sample was taken from Shanlyn Patch, unplaced in this event.

Cornelius Fudge was slow to begin.  Dyna Keitaro checked off Lektra Utopia soon after the start checking Barksdale.  Barksdale, Aristotle Bale, Dynamo's Gift, Lektra Outlaw and Dyna Nico collided approaching the first turn, severely checking Barksdale.  Dyna Keitaro, Aristotle Bale and Lektra Outlaw collided on the first turn checking Dyna Keitaro and Aristotle Bale.  Cornelius Fudge raced wide in the back straight. Dyna Keitaro and Barksdale collided on the third turn checking Dyna Keitaro and Lektra Outlaw.  Aristotle Bale, Dynamo's Gift and Lektra Outlaw collided approaching the winning post.

Peloton Bale, Repayments and Whodat Knockin' were slow to begin.  Sisco Rage, Ima Fairytale, Gaucho and Kiss Me Ketut collided on the first turn checking Ima Fairytale, Repayments, Gaucho, Whodat Knockin' and Kiss Me Ketut.  Repayments and Whodat Knockin' collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Repayments.  Ima Fairytale checked off Kiss Me Ketut on the home turn.

A sample was taken from Mepunga Armagh, the winner of the event.

Weston East was slow to begin.  Weston East and Usain I'm Nutty collided soon after the start.  Elfen Bale, Dyna Villa and Luca Neveelk collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Luca Neveelk, severely checking Dyna Villa and Spring Leaf.  Usain I'm Nutty raced wide in the back straight.  Usain I'm Nutty faltered approaching the home turn and pulled up as a result.  Dyna Villa and Spring Leaf collided approaching the home turn.  Elfen Bale and Weston East collided on the home turn.

Dyna Villa was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right stopper bone and right medial thigh, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Usain I'm Nutty was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a suspected broken right hind metatarsal/s, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Tears Siam prior to kennelling upon arrival at the course.

Beks, Feikuai Polly and Tears Siam were slow to begin.  Shanlyn Lucy, Dzeko and Tears Siam collided approaching the first turn.  Beks checked off Shanlyn Lucy on the first turn checking Feikuai Polly.  Volksjager Blue, Julie Bale and Know Danger collided approaching the second turn checking Volksjager Blue and Julie Bale.  Shanlyn Lucy checked off Julie Bale entering the front straight.  Volksjager Blue and Julie Bale collided on the third turn and again approaching the fourth turn checking Volksjager Blue and Feikuai Polly.  Shanlyn Lucy checked off Julie Bale on the fifth turn.  Dzeko and Know Danger collided on the home turn.

Good Judge Buddy was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Virginia Rose, Burekup Boy and Lakeview Luke were slow to begin.  Virginia Rose, Burekup Boy and Lakeview Luke collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Burekup Boy and Lakeview Luke. Virginia Rose and Burekup Boy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Burekup Boy faltered approaching the second turn and lost ground as a result.  My Zephyr faltered in the back straight and tailed off as a result.

Burekup Boy was vetted following the event and was revetted following Race 11.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a strain to the left shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

My Zephyr was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Meeting Comments:

Twistex was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was cleared to race.  Acting under GAR83, Stewards directed that a urine sample be taken from the greyhound.
