Stewards spoke to Mr. K Quinn, the trainer of Kilty's Tiger regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Kilty's Tiger last raced on 8th April, 2016 and is returning to racing after an illness enforced spell
Stewards spoke to P Vogelzang, the trainer of Ava's Angel regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Ava's Angel last raced on 28th March, 2016 and is returning to racing after a season
Mr. Simon Smith, handler of Boris Lee declared a new weight of 34.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Boris Lee last raced at 32.1kg.
Big Talker was slow to begin. Ava's Angel, Boris Lee and Obladi Oblada collided soon after the start checking Obladi Oblada. Kilty's Tiger and Ava's Angel collided approaching the first turn. Tempus Fugit and Fancy Bounce collided on the first turn checking Pyramid Flyer. Boris Lee and Obladi Oblada collided on the first turn. Big Talker galloped on the heels of Ava's Angel on the home turn checking both greyhounds. Kilty's Tiger and Pyramid Flyer collided on the home turn. Kilty's Tiger and Tempus Fugit collided entering the home straight.
