Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter, Mr. R LeSueur did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Celica Bale and Qura Allen were quick to begin. Mahaya was slow to begin. Gym Boots crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, causing Celica Bale, Mabel Allen, Night King and Qura Allen to collided, checking Mabel Allen, Night King and Qura Allen. Elusive Jewel and Quartz Vein collided approaching the first turn, and agin on the first turn, severely checking Mahaya, Quartz Vein fell as a result. Qura Allen and Elusive Jewel collided on the first turn. Mabel Allen, Night King and Gym Boots collided approaching the second turn, severely checking Night King and Gym Boots.
Qura Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn nail on the left front foot, a 7 day stand down period was imposed
Mahaya was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left front sesamoid, left wrist and right triangle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Quartz Vein was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
