He Ain't Sweet was quick to begin. Lil Blackbook was slow to begin. Just Red checked off Argyle Lucifer soon after the start. Argyle Lucifer checked off He Ain't Sweet approaching the first turn. Just Red faltered approaching the first turn and lost ground as a result. Lil Blackbook and Woolly Warbo collided on the first turn checking Woolly Warbo and severely checking Loosey Jabna and Argyle Lucifer which both stumbled and lost ground as a result. Bulk Carnage galloped on the heels of Chief Hiawatha on the home turn checking Chief Hiawatha. Woolly Warbo, Just Red and Argyle Lucifer raced wide in the home straight.

Loosey Jabna was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left fore foot. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Just Red was vetted and re-vetted following race 2. It was reported that the greyhound sustained to the right monkey muscle, right shoulder joint and right chest muscle. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Dynamite Zara was quick to begin. Funda Down checked off Sunset Oasis soon after the start. Miss Lumens and Lightning Frank collided soon after the start checking Miss Lumens. Miss Baroque and Dynamite Zara collided approaching the first turn checking Dynamite Zara. Funda Down brushed the running rail approaching the first turn. Dynamite Zara and Sunset Oasis collided on the first turn checking Sunset Oasis. Miss Baroque contacted the running rail approaching the home turn and lost ground as a result. Funda Down and Miss Lumens collided on the home turn checking Miss Lumens. Sunset Oasis and Jesterday collided on the home turn.

Ultimate Paddy, Shytown Hussler and Good Wick were slow to begin. Good Wick and Moltisanti collided soon after the start checking Good Wick. Miss Firing and Moltisanti collided several times approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Miss Firing checked off Moltisani on the fiurst turn. Moltisanti contacted the running rail on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Moltisanti, Good Wick and Miss Firing.

Moltisanti was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Desert Oasis was quick to begin. Amigo was slow to begin. Lily Latief checked off Gundy's Gold soon after the start. Gundy's Gold checked off Motivate Her approaching the first turn and collided with Lorna Olive. Avatar Kelso and Amigo collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Avatar Kelso. Gundy's Gold and Lorna Olive collided on the first turn checking Lorna Olive. Lily Latief checked off Gundy's Gold on the home turn. Desert Oasis and Red Tone collided entering the home straight. Lily Latief checked off Avatar Kelso in the home straight.

El Marney was quick to begin. Quiet Brilliant were slow to begin. Rickety Gate and Final Bid collided soon after the start checking Rickety Gate. Archie Ninkasi, Specify and Oaklands collided soon after the start checking Specify. Oaklands checked off Clovally Mansumi approaching the first turn checking Archie Ninkasi and Oaklands. Archie Ninkasi and Oaklands collided on the first turn checking Archie Ninkasi. Final Bid checked off Clovally Mansumi on the first turn checking Oaklands. Archie Nankasi checked off Oaklands approaching the home turn. Oaklands checked off Final Bid on the home turn and collided with Specify.

Specify was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist and right forefoot second toenail. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Tybellene, Gardsman, Tricky Mover and Bird Special were slow to begin. Gardsman and Tricky Mover collided soon after the start. Fatboy Norm and Shout Out Loud collided on the first turn checking Shout Out Loud. Fatboy Norm and Bronco De Jurer collided on the second turn checking Fatboy Norn and Tybellene. Tricky Mover checked off Shout Out Loud on the home turn. Tybellene and Fatboy Norm collided on the home turn. Bird Special crossed to the outside and raced wide in the home straight.

Oakleigh Rose and Gunnewin collided soon after the start checking Gunnewin. Swift Trent and Billiluna collided soon after the start checking Billiluna. Taltarni Shiraz, Bedlum, Sip Slowly and Oakleigh Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Taltarni Shiraz, Bedlum and Sip Slowly. Gunnewin and Billiluna collided on the first turn checking Billiluna. Billiluna checked off Sip Slowly entering the home straight. Gunnewin raced wide in the home straight.

Sip Slowly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound had diarrhoea and displayed slow post race recovery. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Barker, the Trainer of Sip Slowly regarding the greyhound's performance in tonight's event. Mr. Barker stated that Sip Slowly was particulalry excited when he retireved the greyhound in preparation to race and also in it's pre-race warm up. Mr. Barker added that Sip Slowly has previously been entered in earlier races and in his opinion, today's later race may have affected it's performance. Stewards advised Mr. Barker that pursuant to GAR 32, in future he shall report to Stewards as soon as practicable any condition or occurrence that may affect the greyhound's running in the event.

Run Sajid Run was slow to begin. Eight Bells Toll, Desert Oak and Coo Coo Coconuts collided soon after the start checking Desert Oak and Coo Coo Coconuts. Sarah Swift and Jimmy Flash collided soon after the start checking Sarah Swift. Sarah Swift  galloped on the heels of Jimmy Flash approaching the first turn checking Jimmy Flash. Eight Bells Toll and Hillbilly Hell collided approaching the first turn checking Eight Bells Toll. Eight Bells Toll, Desert Oak, Coo Coo Coconuts, Run Sajid Run and Jimmy Flash collided on the first turn checking Desert Oak and Coo Coo Coconuts and severely checking Eight Bells Toll and Jimmy Flash. Run Sajid Run and Sarah Swift collided approaching the home turn checking Run Sajid Run. Hurry Up Chief raced wide in the home straight.

Jack's Pick was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist and the left back muscle. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

Gold Compass was quick to begin. Tredgar was slow to begin. Angel Of Glory, Dovizioso and Tredgar collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds.
