Top Sprite, Go Go Danni and Maverick Flash collided soon after the start. Dozer Lad, Xan Mai and Maverick Flash collided approaching the first turn. Dozer Lad checked off Xan Mai approaching the first turn. Map It Out and Xan Mai collided on the first turn, checking Map It Out. Maverick Flash and Top Sprite collided on the first turn. She's Fullboar clipped the heels of Thorn And Roses approaching the home turn. Dozer Lad galloped on the heels of Top Sprite approaching the home turn, checking Top Sprite. Top Sprite and Xan Mai collided on the home turn, checking both greyhounds.
MEETING CONDITIONS:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to F. Bickerton, the representative of Pacific Gem regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Pacific Gem last raced on 11 November 2015. Mr. Bickerton stated that the greyhound was returning from being on season. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Pacific Gem trialled over the 311m from box 1, weight 26.5kgs, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 17.92, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7 1/4 lengths. Pacific Gem was cleared.
