Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Brooklyn Cruiser.
Soxy, Mary's Shadow and Roll 'Em Missy collided soon after the start checking Mary's Shadow and Roll 'Em Missy. Customized, Burnsy's Sam and Snow Gypsy collided on the first turn checking Soxy and Burnsy's Sam, Burnsy's Sam galloped on Snow Gypsy as a result severely checking Snow Gypsy which lost considerable ground. Roll 'Em Missy and Snow Gypsy collided on the first turn checking Snow Gypsy.
Snow Gypsy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Stewards noted the track was lightly harrowed on Monday 4th July, 2016.
Following Race 3 Stewards consulted with the track manager Mr. M. Bickerdike and decided that due to the inclement weather the track would be graded every second race.
