Cosby Sweater and Wrecking Ralph collided approaching the first turn checking Wrecking Ralph. Paddy's Nemo and Gandolf Bale collided approaching the first turn. Blink and Gandolf Bale collided on the first turn checking Gandolf Bale and Paddy's Nemo. Blink raced wide on the home turn.

Running Shadow was a late scratching at 6:03pm on advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to diarrhoea and pyrexia. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Lass Bale was slow to begin.

Lass Bale and Zipping Elvis collided soon after the start. Coal Cheetah and Tamron Bale collided soon after the start and again on the first turn. Fancy Assassin and Lass Bale collided on the first turn checking Lass Bale and Zipping Elvis. Coal Cheetah galloped on the heels of Zipping Elvis approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Crackerjack Bob checked off Mepunga Atom on the home turn checking Lass Bale which collided with Zipping Elvis. Lass Bale checked off Crackerjack Bob in the home straight.

Coal Cheetah was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Chubba Chops was quick to begin.

Mepunga Nick and Southwood Lloyd collided soon after the start. Velvet Hammer checked off Tigress Eight approaching the first turn and collided with Mepunga Nick. Ace Bale and Southwood Lloyd collided on the first turn severely checking Ace Bale which contacted the rail. Lynlea Jake and Southwood Lloyd collided approaching the home turn. Velvet Hammer and Glitterbug collided enteirng the home straight severely checking both greyhounds. Glitterbug checked off Tigress Eight approaching the winning post.

Velvet Hammer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Glitterbug was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Ace Bale which performed poorly over the concluing stages of the event was vetted. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured tail. A 30 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was unable to be obtained from Ace Bale. A subsequent post race sample was aborted due to the nature of the injuries sustained and the welfare of the greyhound.

Be Hopeful was slow to begin.

Feikuai Molly and Inventor collided soon after the start checking Feikuai Molly. Dyna Quirk and Dyna Chaaer collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Quirk checked off Inventor on the first turn checking Bekim Vapour. Dyna Chaser checked off Inventor approaching the home turn. Be Hopeful raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Dyna Quirk and Bekim Vapour collided entering the home straight.

Tekki Yvettia was slow to begin.

Dyna Fatbob, Crackerjack Dak and Crusiy's Luck collided soon after the start. Bejay The Dejay and Beauty Bale collided soon after the start. Tekki Yvettia and Bejay The Dejay collided approaching the first turn. Crackerjack Dak checked off Dyna Fatbob approaching the first turn. Dyna Fatbob and Cruisy's Luck collided on the first turn checking Cruisy's Luck which collided with Crackerjack Dak. Crackerjack Dak and Cruisy's Luck collided approaching the home turn.

Hestia Bale, Leah Belena, Alex's Entity and Code Breaker were slow to begin.

Low Talker checked off Spa Cheang soon after the start. Code Breaker and Low Talker collided approaching the first turn. Low Talker checked off Spa Cheang on the first turn. Earl Bale galloped on the heels of Feikuai Zack on the first turn checking Earl Bale and Alex's Entity. Low Talker checked off Spa Cheang approaching the home turn. Code Breaker checked off Alex's Entity and raced wide entering the home straight.

Leah Belena which trailed the field throughout was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hamstring. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Gatum and Annie Weaver collided soon after the start checking Annie Weaver. Astromatic and Grand Intention collided several times approaching the first turn. Hotshot Hero checked off Elly's Dream approaching the home turn. Bigbad Fiji and Southern Blaze collided on the home turn. Lite Beam raced wide in the home straight. Jaraig Gangster and Bigbad Fiji collided approaching the winning post.

Wai Nui Lea, Euphoric, Jeddy Bale, Windsor Prize and Fizzy Bale collided soon after the start checking Euphoric, Jeddy Bale, Fizzy Bale and Windsor Prize. Fizzy Bale checked off Windsor Prize on the first turn. Mad Bekim galloped on the heels of Uptown Funk approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds causing Windsor Prize and Uptown Funk to collide and resulting in Mad Bekim being severely checked and both Windsor Prize and Uptown Funk falling.
