Steward's Report
Two For Twelve was a late scratching at 5:04pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an elevated temperature. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Sootette, Golden Hippy and Cosmic Jewels collided approaching the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Cosmic Jewels brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. Osti's Explorer contacted the running rail approaching the home turn. Sootette and Golden Hippy collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn, severely checking Sootette. Cosmic Jewels and Osti's Explorer collided on the home turn.
Sootette was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Osti's Explorer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
