M. Maguire, trainer of Tiger Pride, redeclared a new weight of 30.5kg in accordance with GAR 39(2). Tiger Pride last raced at 31.7kg.

Oz Dodger and Crackerjack Andy were slow to begin.  Bendtastic, Roman Boy and Harsh Vision collided soon after the start checking Bendtastic and Roman Boy.  Harsh Vision and Maximum Mak collided approaching the first turn checking Harsh Vision.  Tiger Pride and Maximum Mak collided on the first turn checking Maximum Mak.  Bendtastic and Harsh Vision collided on the first turn and approaching the home turn checking Bendtastic.  Roman Boy galloped on the heels of My Mates Wife approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

M. Tripani, trainer of Magic Max, redeclared a new weight of 33.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Magic Max last raced at 34.8kg.

Sherry Baby was slow to begin.  Oscar Beam and Pyrenees Dynasty collided soon after the start.  Sparkling Star and Lace Parasol collided on the first turn.  Pyrenees Dynasty checked off Oscar Beam on the first turn.  Mini Morgo checked off Lace Parasol entering the back straight.  Western Region and Pyrenees Dynasty collided approaching the home turn checking Pyrenees Dynasty.  Pyrenees Dynasty, Sparkling Star, Mini Morgo and Magic Max collided approaching the home turn checking Pyrenees Dynasty and severely checking Mini Morgo, Sparkling Star and Magic Max.  Pyrenees Dynasty galloped on the heels of Oscar Beam approaching the winning post.

Mini Morgo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Charlie's Man, Crackerjack Cam and Flyin' Les Fergi collided soon after the start checking Flyin' Les Fergi.  Flaming Causeway and Hollywood Beam collided soon after the start checking Hollywood Beam.  Flyin' Les Fergi checked off Crackerjack Cam approaching the first turn.  Crackerjack Cam, Charlie's Man and Elite Runner collided on the first turn checking Charlie's Man and Crackerjack Cam.  Charlie's Man and Crackerjack Cam collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Flaming Causeway and Wrecking Ralph collided approaching the home turn.  Charlie's Man raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Mystique Speedy was quick to begin.  Giddy Up and Sweet Chilly collided soon after the start.  All Bolts and Media Tycoon collided soon after the start checking All Bolts.  El Huracan and Sweet Chilly collided on the home turn and in the home straight checking El Huracan.

Wood Cutter Stan was a late scratching at 11:13am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to a swollen right hock.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Gangalla Nugget was slow to begin and stumbled soon after the start, losing considerable ground as a result.  Bet Bet Ryan, Doing Chewing, Home You Go and Destini Lobo collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Bet Bet Ryan, Doing Chewing and Home You Go.

Gangalla Nugget was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Esparza was slow to begin.  College Graduate, Macburner, Slipaway Jenifer, Danny Brook and Missy Bee collided soon after the start checking Macburner, Slipaway Jenifer and Danny Brook.  Macburner, Slipaway Jenifer and Danny Brook collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.

Super Patricia was quick to begin.  Matty's Caravan was slow to begin.  Tigress Eight and Chantilly Magic collided soon after the start checking Tigress Eight.  Cosmic Madness and Tigress Eight collided approaching the first turn.  Tigress Eight and Matty's Caravan collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Mojito Mayhem, Super Patricia and Chantilly Magic collided approaching the home turn checking Mojito Mayhem.

H. Gates, trainer of Decta, redeclared a new weight of 26.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Decta last raced at 24.8kg.

Molly Michelle was slow to begin.  Kevaud's Girl was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Kilcolegan Cross and Conclude collided soon after the start.  Molly Michelle and Decta collided on the first turn checking Molly Michelle and Conclude.

Bradfield was slow to begin.  Oakmont Bandit and Oakmont Octum went up with the lids at box rise and were very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Contrive, Ima Cosmic, Blue Label and Nictaynel collided approaching the first turn.  Slipaway Simba and Blue Label collided approaching the first turn checking Blue Label; Blue Label collided with Ima Cosmic and Oakmont Octum as a result.  Oakmont Bandit checked off Bradfield on the home turn.  Contrive and Oakmont Octum collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Blue Label was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Coka Bach was quick to begin.  Madu Shoes was slow to begin.  Samsara Lass and Eumeralla Dessy collided approaching the first turn.

Mr. S. Bonaccurso was fined the sum of $50 for his failure to produce the registration papers / registration card for the greyhound Horsham Myth pursuant to GAR 33.

Best Song Ever and Tekki Tyrant were slow to begin.  Horsham Myth and Sparkling Kitty collided soon after the start.  Twycroft Betty and Horsham Myth collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn.  Prison Cells and Uriah's Thunder collided approaching the home turn severely checking Prison Cells.  Twycroft Betty, Horsham Myth and Tekki Tyrant collided approaching the home turn checking Twycroft Betty and Horsham Myth.  Horsham Myth, Twycroft Betty and Best Song Ever collided approaching the home turn checking Twycroft Betty.

Darley Tuesday was a late scratching at 11:08am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr. T. Monaghan was fined the sum of $100.

Urban Rock Star and Bound For Vegas collided soon after the start.  Urban Rock Star, Bound For Vegas and Baroness Molly collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Bound For Vegas.  West Mae and Starbright Girl collided approaching the home turn checking Starbright Girl and Lita's Lad.  Judy's My Name and Baroness Molly collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  West Mae and Urban Rock Star raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Starbright Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Viking (Returning from Retirement) trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 3, weight 29.0kgs.  The greyhound was placed 3rd, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.47.  The greyhound was beaten by a margin of 7.25 lengths.  Miss Viking was cleared.

Superliner trialled over the 390 metre distance from box 1, weight 33.3kgs.  The greyhound was placed 1st, in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 22.47.  The greyhound was won by a margin of 3 lengths.  Superliner was cleared.
