Mechatronic was quick to begin. High Class and Mechatronic collided soon after the start. Impact Bale and Bronco De Jurer collided soon after the start. Sahara checked off Allen Icarus soon after the start. High Class, Mechatronic, Say Again and Allen incarus collided on the first turn checking Mechatronic and severely checking High Class, Say Again and Allen Icarus. Mechatronic and Sahara collided in the back straight checking both greyhounds. Sahara checked off Mechatronic on the third turn. High Class galloped on the heels of Allen Icarus approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds; both greyhounds raced wide as a result. Say Again and Bronco De Jurer collided entering the home straight checking Say Again.
