Steward's Report
Mr J. Collins, trainer of Kick Like Mick redeclared a new weight of 32.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2) Kick Like Mick last raced at 33.1kg.
Unther Bale was quick to begin. It's A Wrap was slow to begin. It's A Wrap checked off Solo Diva soon after the start. Kick Like Mick, Ty's Houdini, Unther Bale and Anna Rose collided approaching the first turn, checking Kick Like Mick, Unther Bale and Anna Rose. Solo Diva checked off It's A Wrap on the first turn. Solo Diva raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Kick Like Mick and Ty's Houdini collided in the home straight, checking Ty's Houdini.
Stewards spoke to Lure Driver, Mr D. Maye and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding his failure to acknowledge that the starting signal had been given. Subsequently a delay in the lure run up was experienced. After reviewing official race footage, stewards deemed that the delay had not disadvantaged any runner and had not effected the result of the race. The race was declared all clear.
