Lektra Vixen and Gammie Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Lektra Vixen and Gammie Bale collided on the first turn, checking Gammie Bale. Harsh Vision galloped on the heels of Thunderous Night approaching the home turn, checking Harsh Vision and Thunderous Night. Ben's Star checked off Thunderous Night on the home turn. Why Not Sue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Big Will was slow to begin. Starling Bale, Cro Cop and Magic Motivator collided soon after the start, checking Cro Cop. Spring Zuma crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking Mirror Bale, Magic Motivator, Starling Bale and Nictaynel. Starling Bale checked off Magic Motivator on the first turn and lost considerable ground. Magic Motivator, Mirror Bale and Nictaynel collided approaching the home turn, checking Nictaynel and Mirror Bale. Magic Motivator brushed the running rail approaching the home turn, checking Magic Motivator. Cro Cop raced wide entering the home straight. Nictaynel crossed to the outside entering the home straight, checking Big Will.

Magic Motivator was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes to the left calf. No stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Buckle Up Nikki engaged in this event on the 15th April pursuant to GAR 79A.

Buckle Up Nikki and Galloping Gem were quick to begin. El Marny and Maximum Melva were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Maximum Melva. El Marny galloped on the heels of Snitzel Von Krum approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Snitzel Vom Krum checked off Crackjack Hano on the first turn. Galloping Gem checked off Max's Entity approaching the home turn. Snitzel Von Krum raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. El Marny and Maximum Melva collided on the home turn. Galloping Gem and Buckle Up Nikki collided entering the home straight. Maximum Melva checked off Galloping Gem in the home straight.

Oakmont Octum went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Ella's Cruising, Tontoria and Spokesman collided soon after the start, checking Tontoria and Spokesman. Rasha Reason and Ella's Cruising collided approaching the first turn, checking Rasha Reason. Oakmont Octum and Quaint Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Dalshabae, Tontoria and severely checking Quaint Bale. Oakmont Octum, Bella Bullet, Rasha Reason and Ella's Cruising collided on the first turn, checking Rasha Reason, Ella's Cruising and severely checking Bella Bullet. Shared Bonus checked off Gracas King approaching the home turn. Elfen Bale and Shared Bonus collided on the home turn. Dozer Tron and White Walker raced wide entering the home straight.

Mr J. Collins, trainer of Kick Like Mick redeclared a new weight of 32.0kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2) Kick Like Mick last raced at 33.1kg.

Unther Bale was quick to begin. It's A Wrap was slow to begin. It's A Wrap checked off Solo Diva soon after the start. Kick Like Mick, Ty's Houdini, Unther Bale and Anna Rose collided approaching the first turn, checking Kick Like Mick, Unther Bale and Anna Rose. Solo Diva checked off It's A Wrap on the first turn. Solo Diva raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Kick Like Mick and Ty's Houdini collided in the home straight, checking Ty's Houdini.

Stewards spoke to Lure Driver, Mr D. Maye and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding his failure to acknowledge that the starting signal had been given. Subsequently a delay in the lure run up was experienced. After reviewing official race footage, stewards deemed that the delay had not disadvantaged any runner and had not effected the result of the race. The race was declared all clear.

Ima Apple was slow to begin. Beljay Fantasy, Mighty Sprite and Uncool Albert collided approaching the first turn, checking Mighty Sprite and Uncool Albert. Ima Apple galloped on the heels of Mighty Sprite on the first turn, severely checking both greyhounds. Dynamo's Gift galloped on the heels of Tiger Toy approaching the home turn, checking Dynamo's Gift, severely checking Mighty Sprite, Tiger Toy and causing Tiger Toy to fall and Mighty Sprite to tail off as a result. Uncool Albert raced wide on the home turn. Veetee Dynamite and Dynamo's Gift collided in the home straight.

Mighty Sprite was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazing to the right hind. No stand down period was imposed.

Tiger Toy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, and was humanely euthanised.

Mr P. Galea, trainer of Kool Puppy redeclared a new weight of 32.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Kool Puppy last raced at 33.9kg.

Elite Gladiator was quick to begin and stumbled soon after the start, checking Elite Gladiator. David John was slow to begin.
