Gazer Bale, Chancy Be Smooth and Can't See Me collided soon after the start.  Rules Apply checked off Select Seaspray approaching the first turn.  Gazer Bale, Chancy Be Smooth and Can't See Me collided approaching the first turn.  Gazer Bale contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Kinrock Starlet, Gazer Bale and Can't See Me.  Sweet Barbados galloped on Select Seaspray on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Sweet Barbados and Select Seaspray collided approaching the second turn checking Select Seaspray, Chancy Be Smooth and Rules Apply.  Select Seaspray and Chancy Be Smooth collided entering the back straight.  Can't See Me checked off Select Seaspray on the home turn checking Gazer Bale.

Gazer Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Shanlyn Patch was quick to begin.

Cosmic Wise and Sisco Fiasco collided soon after the start checking Cosmic Wise.  Julie Bale, Dyna Geldof and Gorham Bale collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn severely checking Julie Bale, Dyna Geldof and checking Gorham Bale.  Zell Bale and Sisco Fiasco collided on the first turn checking Zell Bale.  Zell Bale and Rockabilly King collided entering the front straight.  Zell Bale and Gorham Bale collided on the second turn.  Rockabilly King and Gorham Bale collided on the third turn.  Julie Bale and Gorham Bale collided entering the back straight and again on the third turn checking Gorham Bale.  Dyna Geldof checked off Gorham Bale entering the home straight.

Dr. Des was a late scratching at 7.40pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to left hind limb inner thigh bruising. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Broden Rain and Macca's Sway were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Macca's Sway and Waymore's Blues collided soon after the start.  Maintenance Man and Chasin Mikado collided soon after the start.  Macca's Sway contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Broden Rain and Macca's Sway collided on the home turn, Broden Rain raced wide as a result.

Macca's Sway was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was apparent injury found.

All Clear for this event was slightly delayed to allow stewards time to check whether any betting deductions were required due to the late scratching.  It was determined that no betting deductions were required.

Feikuai Polly was slow to begin.

Destini Shadow and Lonesome Knight collided on the first turn checking Lonesome Knight.  Express Lane checked off Destini Shadow on the first turn.  Texan Star and Unova Bale collided approaching the fifth turn.  Unova Bale veered out and marred Texan Star approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  Texan Star and Unova Bale collided in the home straight.

Unova Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left pectoral and right whip muscle soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Delbridge, the trainer of the greyhound Unova Bale regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Unova Bale with marring. Mr. M. Delbridge pleaded guilty, Unova Bale was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all Tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Ralphy Cinel was quick to begin. Opec Bale and Newfire Riley were slow to begin.

Nicki Fields checked off Rain Stream on the first turn.  Deadly Boy checked off Berry Blitz on the first turn, Deadly Boy and Know Danger collided as a result.  Opec Bale and Newfire Riley collided approaching the second turn.  Berry Blitz and Know Danger collided approaching the home turn.

Kayda Shae was slow to begin.

Fuelish, Midnight Ride and What's Chewing collided soon after the start.  Crackerjack Burn and What's Chewing crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Fuelish, Voight, Cuervo Shot, Kayda Shae and severely checking Midnight Ride.  Crackerjack Burn and Dr. Don collided on the first turn.  Voight and Fuelish collided on the first turn.  Crackerjack Burn checked off Dr. Don approaching the second turn.  Fueilsh contacted the running rail on the second turn.  Cuervo Shot and Midnight Ride collided in the home straight.

Diva's Shadow was slow to begin.

Dyna Double One and Crawf's Bread collided soon after the start.  Buckle Up Mason and Dyna Double One collided soon after the start.  Crawf's Bread and Diva's Shadow collided approaching the first turn.  Crawf's Bread checked off Dyna Double One approaching the first turn. Mepunga Armagh, Buckle Up Mason and Dyna Double One collided on the first turn checking Buckle Up Mason and Dyna Double One.  Diva's Shadow checked off Buckle Up Mason entering the home straight.

Sisco Rage was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right stopper bone laceration, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Money Come Back was a late scratching at 5.55pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. G. Selkrig was fined the sum of $100.

Young Henry and Dr. Peter were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Shazzle's Boy clipped the heels of Hashtag Selfie approaching the second turn.  Blue Giant checked off Cruiser's Sol entering the back straight and again entering the home straight.

Yadi, Dyna Zod and Minority were slow to begin.

Speedie Rioli and Humming Birdhill collided soon after the start.  Speedie Rioli and Yadi collided on the first turn.  Humming Birdhill and Scintillating collided on the first turn.  Beyond Rapid and Let's Say Hello collided on the first turn checking Beyond Rapid, Scintillating and severely checking Let's Say Hello and Humming Birdhill.  Speedie Rioli, Dyna Zod and Scintillating collided on the second turn checking Dyna Zod and Scintillating.  Let's Say Hello and Humming Birdhill collided on the second turn.  Yadi clipped the heels of Beyond Rapid entering the back straight.  Let's Say Hello checked off Scintillating approaching the winning post.

Perfect Madison, Classy Boy and Midnight Flynn were slow to begin.

Zelemar Doll and Stealthy Blonde collided approaching the home turn.

Dynamic Punch was slow to begin.

Boxhead and One Dee and collided soon after the start.  Dr. Mortisha, My Zephyr, Boxhead and One Dee collided on the first turn.  My Zephyr, Boxhead and One Dee collided approaching the second turn checking One Dee and Lady Goldenpaw.  Dr. Mortisha and Dynamic Punch collided approaching the second turn.  Boxhead and Lady Goldenpaw collided entering the back straight.  Boxhead, One Dee and Lady Goldenpaw collided on the third turn checking Lady Goldenpaw.
