Steward's Report
Dr. Des was a late scratching at 7.40pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to left hind limb inner thigh bruising. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Broden Rain and Macca's Sway were slow to begin and collided soon after the start. Macca's Sway and Waymore's Blues collided soon after the start. Maintenance Man and Chasin Mikado collided soon after the start. Macca's Sway contacted the running rail on the first turn. Broden Rain and Macca's Sway collided on the home turn, Broden Rain raced wide as a result.
Macca's Sway was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was apparent injury found.
All Clear for this event was slightly delayed to allow stewards time to check whether any betting deductions were required due to the late scratching. It was determined that no betting deductions were required.
