Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Scarce.
Spring Kitty was quick to begin. Arashundi went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Vicki Morris and Satin Ice collided soon after the start, checking Vicki Morris. Satin Ice checked off Captain Freckles approaching the first turn, checking Mudslinger. Arashundi contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Jazzy Diva checked off Scarce approaching the home turn. Arashundi and Vicki Morris raced wide on the home turn, and again in the home straight. Mudslinger and Jazzy Diva collided approaching the winning post.
Arashundi was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Spring Kitty - the winner of the event.
The semaphore board displayed a winning time of 23.45 . This was corrected by the Judge to 23.06 with the aid of the Finish Lynx system. The All Clear was then notified.
