Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Toss.
Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Pell, the trainer of Barney Bubble regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Barney Bubble last raced on 11/3/16. Mr. Pell stated that the greyhound was returning from a right hock injury.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Lure Driver Mr. D. Pell did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Avatar Storm and Barney Bubble were slow to begin. Toss crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Bramha's Pride and Rubba Wilson. All Inn April, Murrabit Yap and Avatar Storm collided approaching the first turn checking Avatar Storm. Avatar Storm, Murrabit Yap and All Inn April collided approaching the first turn checking Toss. Murrabit Yap, Swift Bunny, All Inn April, Bramha's Pride, Barney Bubble, Avatar Storm and Toss collided on the first turn severely checking Avatar Storm and Toss. Bramha's Pride, All Inn April and Barney Bubble collided approaching the home turn. Bramha's Pride and All Inn April collided on the home turn. Murrabit Yap and Barney Bubble collided entering the home straight. All Inn April and Murrabit Yap collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.
Avatar Storm was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
