Steward's Report
Logistical and Star Status were slow to begin.
Star Status (faltered turning into the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right long head triceps injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
On Song Bobby (turned its head outwards turning out of the front straight and again in the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Dennis Langley regarding On Song Bobby's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, On Song Bobby was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Langley pleaded guilty to the charge. On Song Bobby was found guilty and suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
