Steward's Report
Spring Leaf and Black Illusion collided soon after the start. Dyna Yemen and Zell Bale collided soon after the start. Caustic Bale, Dyna Yemen and Zell Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Zell Bale. Black Illusion checked off Spring Leaf on the first turn checking Crawf's Bread and Caustic Bale with Caustic Bale contacting the running rail as a result. Black Illusion and Zell Bale collided entering the back straight. Caustic Bale and Dyna Yemen collided in the back straight checking Dyna Yemen. Zell Bale galloped on Black Illusion on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Dyna Yemen checked off Black Illusion approaching the home turn. Spring Leaf and Bottom Dollar collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Dyna Yemen and Zell Bale collided entering the home straight.
Following the event the judges inadvertently semaphored the incorrect numbers 1-8-3 before immediately semaphoring the correct numbers 1-8-7-3 before the all clear was given.
