Velloway and Maximus Glider collided approaching the home turn. Ikaku Bale checked off Velloway on the home turn. Come At Me and Evers Bale collided soon after the start.  Brazen Bull, Come At Me, Evers Bale, Kaitoke Diamond and Johnny Mobster collided approaching the first turn checking Kaitoke Diamond and Simply Elite.  Fuelish crossed to the rail approaching the first turn.  Johnny Mobster and Chasin Mikado collided on the first turn checking Chasin Mikado, Kaitoke Diamond and Simply Elite.  Brazen Bull and Come At Me collided approaching the second turn.  Fuelish checked off Come At Me on the third turn.

Fuelish was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hip and thigh injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

The start of this race was delayed by 2mins to allow sufficient time for the track to be cleared and brushed.

Dyna Geldof, Mepunga Tiara, Tiny Oasis and Know Danger were slow to begin.

Grand Legacy and Yanick Allen collided soon after the start.  Mepunga Tiara and Tiny Oasis collided on the first turn checking Tiny Oasis and Know Danger.  Tiny Oasis checked Mepunga Tiara in the front straight and again approaching the third turn. Dyna Geldof and Grand Legacy collided on the third turn.  Dyna Geldof checked off Grand Legacy approaching the home turn.  Mepunga Tiara and Yanick Allen collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Yanick Allen.  

Cosmic Wise was slow to begin. Sisco Rage was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Fever Pitch and Express Pace were slow to begin.

Fever Pitch, Ballerino and Express Pace collided soon after the start.  Lektra Concord and Gaucho collided soon after the start.  Rocka Hula Baby crossed in approaching the first turn checking Ballerino and Usain i'm Nutty.  Ballerino and Express Pace collided approaching the first turn.  Lektra Concord checked off Gaucho on the first turn checking Gaucho.  Ballerino and Rocka Hula Baby collided on the first turn checking Ballerino, Rocka Hula Baby and Express Pace.  Ballerino and Rocka Hula Baby collided entering the back straight checking Lektra Concord, Rocka Hula Baby and Ballerino.  Express Pace clipped the heels of Gaucho entering the back straight checking Express Pace and Rocka Hula Baby causing Letkra Concord fall as a result.

Spring Leaf and Black Illusion collided soon after the start.  Dyna Yemen and Zell Bale collided soon after the start.  Caustic Bale, Dyna Yemen and Zell Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Zell Bale.  Black Illusion checked off Spring Leaf on the first turn checking Crawf's Bread and Caustic Bale with Caustic Bale contacting the running rail as a result.  Black Illusion and Zell Bale collided entering the back straight.  Caustic Bale and Dyna Yemen collided in the back straight checking Dyna Yemen.  Zell Bale galloped on Black Illusion on the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Dyna Yemen checked off Black Illusion approaching the home turn.  Spring Leaf and Bottom Dollar collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  Dyna Yemen and Zell Bale collided entering the home straight.  

Following the event the judges inadvertently semaphored the incorrect numbers 1-8-3 before immediately semaphoring the correct numbers 1-8-7-3 before the all clear was given.

Chancy Be Smooth, Gazer Bale and Alpha Athena were slow to begin.

Gazer Bale and Alpha Athena collided soon after the start.  King Humpty and Sweet Barbados collided on the first turn checking Sweet Barbados. It's A Bird checked off Flywheel Magic on the first turn checking Broadway Miss.  Gazer Bale and Alpha Athena collided approaching the second turn.  King Humpty checked off Broadway Miss on the second turn checking Chancy Be Smooth and Sweet Barbados.  Gazer Bale checked off Alpha Athena entering the back straight.  It's A Bird checked off King Humpty entering the back straight checking Sweet Barbados.  Sweet Barbados and Alpha Athena collided approaching the third turn checking Alpha Athena.  Sweet Barbados and Gazer Bale collided approaching the home turn.  It's A Bird and Gazer Bale collided approaching the winning post.  Flywheel Magic and Broadway Miss collided approaching the winning post.

Mrs. K. Bravo, trainer of Morningside redeclared a new weight of 26.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Morningside last raced at 27.2kgs. 

Allen Malik, Money Come Back, Repayments and Kerrigan Bale were slow to begin.
