Humming Birdhill was slow to begin.  Wuxi and Ryley Sams collided soon after the start.  Ballerino crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Wuxi, Ryley Sams and Sonic Dash.  Wuxi raced wide on the first turn checking Sonic Dash and Humming Birdhill.  Wuxi and Humming Birdhill collided on the second turn,  Sacramento Sal and Ryley Sams collided on the third turn checking Ryley Sams.  Allkel To Excel checked off the heels of Ballerino on the home turn.  Ryley Sams checked off the heels of Wuxi on the home turn.  Humming Birdhill checked off the heels of Sonic Dash entering the home straight.

Ryley Sams was vetted following the Event and Dr G Goble, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.

Mepunga Treasure was slow to begin.  Fleetwood Zac and Memphis Jookin' collided on the first turn checking Memphis Jookin'.  Memphis Jookin' and Razldazl Pacino collided on the third turn checking Assertive Bella and Memphis Jookin''.

Memphis Jookin' was vetted following the Event and Dr. G. Goble, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained superficial grazes to the right hock.  No stand down period was applied.

Samples were taken from the placegetters - Rocka Hula Baby (1st) and Mepunga Treasure (2nd).

Jimmy Margetts and Stompin' were slow to begin.  Left Is Right crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Twelfth Man, Weblec Rose and Dyna Quirk and severely checking Yadi.  Twelfth Man crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Weblec Rose, Dyna Quirk and Yadi.  Dyna Quirk eased on the second turn.  Yadi checked off Dyna Quirk entering the home straight.  Weblec Rose checked off Stompin'in the home straight.

Dyna Quirk was vetted following the Event and after being revetted, Dr G Goble, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no apparent injury with the greyhound.  Stewards spoke to Mr. G Dailly, Handler of Dyna Quirk, regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn.  Acting under GAR69(A)(1), Stewards charged Dyna Quirk with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. G Dailly pleaded not guilty to the charge.  Dyna Quirk was found guilty as charged and suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park only and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A((2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards fined Trainer, Mrs. B Ennis, the sum of $50.00 pursuant to GAR33 for failing to produce the registration card of Gaucho.

Paua To Escape was quick to begin.  Gaucho and Angie Rocks were slow to begin.  Fleetwood Jay and What''s Chewing collided soon after the start.  Midnight Ride and Nikita Kahn collided approaching the first turn.  Gaucho and Fleetwood Jay collided on the first turn severely checking Fleetwood Jay, Nikita Kahn and Angie Rocks; Fleetwood Jay faltered and tailed off as a result.  Nikita Kahn tailed off approaching the third turn. Gaucho galloped on the heels of Paua To Escape on the third turn checking Paua To Escape, Come On Fantasy and Midnight Ride.

Fleetwood Jay was vetted following the Event and Dr. G. Goble, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained a suspected fracture to the right wrist.  Fleetwood Jay will stand down from racing for 28 days.

Nikita Kahn was also vetted following the Event and Dr. G. Goble, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that the greyhound sustained pain to the right wrist and flexor tendon.  Nikita Kahn will stand down from racing for 7 days.

Samples were taken from the placegetters - Gaucho (1st) and What's Chewing (2nd).

Charleston was slow out.  Ivy Bale, West On Delly and Rashad Reason collided soon after the start.  Charleston checked off the heels of Usain I'm Nutty soon after the start.  Usain I'm Nutty and Miss Cersei collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Charleston contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Miss Cersei as a result.  Speedy Carerro checked off the heels of Bruce Tycoon approaching the second turn.

Rashad Reason was vetted following the Event and Dr. G, Goble, the Club's Veterinary Surgeon, reported that he could find no injury apparent with the greyhound.  No stand down period was applied.

Berry Blitz was quick to begin.  Shanlyn Lucy and Dzeko were slow to begin.  Rain Stream and Why Not Wayne collided approaching the first turn. Cambridge Prince, Rain Stream, Slipaway Mavis and Why Not Wayne collided on the first turn checking Why Not Wayne and Dzeko.  Rain Stream raced wide entering the home straight causing Dzeko to race wide.  Rain Stream and Dzeko colided approaching the finishing line.

Porrentruy was slow out.  Rowdy Ronda and Cosmic Owl collided soon after the start.  Callum's Mum and Express Pace collided soon after the start.  Express Pace, Rowdy Ronda and Opus Forte collided on the first turn checking Rowdy Ronda and Opus Forte.  Once A Drifter, Cosmic Owl and Triple Lindy collided on the first turn checking Cosmic Owl.  Porrentruy raced wide approaching the second turn.  Rowdy Ronda and Triple Lindy collided on the home turn and again several times in the home straight.

Samples were taken from Express Pace, the winner of the Event.

Wind Whistler and Caustic Bale were slow to begin.  Mepunga Armagh, Flame Bale and Oakvale Flyer collided on the first turn checking Flame Bale and severely checking Oakvale Flyer and Ride The Rails.  Wind Whistler checked off the heels of Caustic Bale on the second turn causing Wind Whistler and Ride The Rails to collide.  Bottom Dollar checked off the heels of Crawf's Bread on the second turn.

Barney's Rhino and Weston East were slow out.  Cuervo Shot and Kayda Shae collided soon after the start.  Kayda Shae contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Barney''s Rhino and Weston East collided approaching the home turn.  Cuervo Shot checked off the heels of Light Ém Up approaching the home turn.  Alexis Kelton checked off the heels of Cuervo Shot approaching the home turn.

Mo Keeping and Grand Intention were slow out.  Grand Intention checked off the heels of Lola's Entity soon after the start.  Schumacher checked off the heels of Vermont on the first turn severely checking Vapour Lee.  Ikaku Bale, Mo Keeping and Lola's Entity collided on the first turn.  Mo Keeping and Lola's Entity collided approaching the second turn.  Grand Intention checked off the heels of Mo Keeping on the second turn,  Ikaku Bale and Vapour Lee collided on the third turn severely checking Vapour Lee which collided with Schumacher approaching the home turn.

Jewel Bale, Lissa Breen and Money Come Back were slow out,  Rumero Reason, Dyna Nihilist, Deadly Boy, Lissa Breen and Money Come Back collided on the first turn checking Deadly Boy, Lissa Breen and Money Come Back.  Deadly Boy, Lissa Breen and Money Come Back collided on the fourth turn checing Money Come Back and severely checking Deadly Boy, Go Mobo, Lissa Breen and Dyna Nihilist.  Dyna Nihilist, Deadly Boy and Go Mobo collided on the home turn.

Andiamo Neo was slow out.  Amaro Bale crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Jayney Bale, Andiamo Neo, Smart Maxwell and Amaro Bale.  Kiltah Magic and Amaro Bale collided on the first turn checking Andiamo Neo and Jayney Bale.  Amaro Bale crossed to the rails approaching the second turn checking Blue Giant.  Smart Maxwell and Jayney Bale collided approaching the home turn.
