Tiger Chien went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin as a result.  Dark Corgi was slow to begin.  Montane and Ima Cosmic collided soon after the start. Montane checked off Magic Court on the first turn.   Magic Court and Ima Cosmic collided on the first turn, checking Ima Cosmic.  Tiger Chien checked off Dark Corgi on the first turn.

Highfield Stix, Magic Max and Mini Morgo were slow to begin.  Bekim Nikita and Western Reign collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Highfield Stix, Magic Max and Wild West Stress colided on the first turn, checking Magic Max and Highfield Stix. .All Prancer and Bekim Nikita collided on the second turn.  Western Reign and Mini Morgo collided in the home straight. Black Rum raced wide in the home straight.

Highfield Stix was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Download was a late scratching at 11.14 a.m. due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer G. Hansen was fined the sum of $100.

Hardy's Me Mum was slow to begin.  Cruising Panther checked off She Can Skate soon after the start.  She Can Skate and Doovalacky collided soon after the start, severely checking She Can Skate.  No No's and Tiger Pride collided on the first turn, checking Tiger Pride.  Doovalacky and Where Are We collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  Doovalacky galloped on the heels of Tiger Pride approaching the home turn, causing Doovalacky and Where Are We to collided, checking Tiger Pride as a result. Cruising Panther checked off Tiger Pride on the home turn.

Tiger Pride was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Destini Diamond went up with the lids and was slow to begin.  Lektra Kirky and Westmead Mouse collided soon after the start.  Lektra Kirky, Westmead Mouse and Ronnie's Delight collided on the first turn.  Westmead Mouse raced wide on the home turn.

Cruisy Surprise crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Don Fire, Moonlight Cruise, Dynamic Groover and Hymie.  Dynamic Groover, Hymie and Moonlight Cruise collided approaching the first turn, checking Dynamic Groover and Moonlight Cruise.  Surfing Minnie checked off Dynamic Groover on the first turn, checking Crymelon Scylla.  Dynamic Groover checked off Crymelon Scylla approaching the home turn.  Hymie and Crymelon Scylla collided entering the home straight and several times in the home straight.  Dynamic Groover and Surfing Minnie collided several times in the home straight.

Avatar Bobby, Contrive and Miracle Maggie were slow to begin.  Avatar Bobby and Contrive collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.

Jill Laker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Miss Icy Fantasy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms S. Elmes the handler of Doveton Bobo regarding the improved performance of the greyhound in today's event. Ms Elmes stated that Doveton Bobo has gradually improved its fitness after undergoing shoulder surgery. She added that the kennel has recently increased the greyhounds workload which in her opinion may have contributed to the performance today. Stewards noted the explanation and directed that a sample be taken.

Master Of Time was slow to begin.  Regal Gladiator and Jack's Legend collided approaching the first turn.  Regal Gladiator, Railway Smokey and Master Of Time collided on the first turn, checking Railway Smokey and Master Of Time.  Railway Smokey checked off Regal Gladiator on the first turn.  Why Not Oscar and Toy Tsunami collided approaching the home turn, checking Why Not Oscar.  Why Not Oscar and Boston George collided approaching the winning post.

Kentucky Toy and Meadow View collided soon after the start.  Kilty Miss, Kentucky Toy and Slipaway Robbie collided approaching the first turn, checking Slipaway Robbie.  Cosmic Buddy checked of Kilty Miss on the first turn, checking Meadow View.  Bozumolu and Kentucky Toy collided on the home turn.  Kilty Miss checked off Slipaway Robbie entering the home straight.

Prince Shak checked off Some Nights on the home turn.  Glitch checked off Prince Shak on the home turn.   Prince Shak checked off  Bonnie's Revenge entering the home straight.  Dancing Madi checked off Lektra Blanket in the home straight.

Harvest Gold was quick to begin.  Slow Cooker was slow to begin.  Bound For Vegas, Hippy Jet and Rumbling Fury collided approaching the first turn.  Belena Bolt and Quirinus Quirrel collided approaching the first turn, checking Belena Bolt.  Hippy Jet,  Rumbling Fury and Belena Bolt collided on the first turn.  Belena Bolt contacted the running rail on the home turn.  Hippy Jet raced wide on the home turn.  

Belena Bolt was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Castle Black and Eumeralla Danny collided soon after the start, severely checking Castle Black.  Elite Tulip and Garaole collided on the first turn, checking Save Geronimo.  Darley Sunday and Bandsaw collided on the first turn, checking Bandsaw.  Elite Tulip and Garaole collided approaching the home turn, checking Elite Tulip, Eumeralla Danny and Darley Sunday.  Bandsaw and Eumeralla Danny collided several times on the home turn.

Satisfactory Trial Results 

Blink trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 29.8 kgs, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 22.52, the greyhound won by a margin of 10.75 lengths. Blink was Cleared.

Outrageous Ollie trialled over the 390m from box 5, weight 30.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd] in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 22.52, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11.25 lengths. Outrageous Ollie was Cleared. 

Taste Da Rainbow trialled over the 390m from box 3, weight 27.4kgs, the greyhound pulled up on the first turn and failed to finish in a field of 6. The time of the trial was 22.52. Taste Da Rainbow was Not Cleared.
