Slingshot Roxy was quick to begin. Johnny's Revenge was slow to begin.
Market Stacey (began to lose ground soon after the start, before subsequently tailing off) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right triangle muscle and right monkey muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Two Reasons (severely checked and fell turning into the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
