Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Saint Raine
Saint Raine, Bella La Vita and Lady Tequila were quick to begin.
Moraine Hope, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left sartorius muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr G Judd regarding Moraine Hope’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Moraine Hope was charged with marring. Mr G Judd pleaded not guilty to the charge. Moraine Hope was found guilty and was suspended for 28 days (2nd offence) all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
