Toc Flyer, Wai Nui Lea and Dina Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Wai Nui Lea. Crackerjack Burn, Ima River Boy and All Over collided approaching the first turn checking Ima River Boy and All Over. Ima River Boy, All Over, Toc Flyer and Dina Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Ima River Boy and All Over. Wai Nui Lea and Spa Missy collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Ima River Boy, Toc Flyer and Dina Bale collided on the first turn checking Dina Bale and All Over. Toc Flyer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Stewards spoke to Mr G. Dailly, the handler of the greyhound Toc Flyer regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Toc Flyer with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr G. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Toc Flyer was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
