Bella Bullet was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hind gluteal muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Blue Westmead, Bally Amy and Wahlberg collided soon after the start. Bella Lestrange and Bally Amy collided approaching the first turn. Blue Westmead checked off Zany Bale approaching the first turn. Bella Lestrange, Blue Westmead and Wahlberg collided several times approaching the first turn. Bally Amy, Bella Lestrange, Blue Westmead and Wahlberg collided approaching the first turn severely checking Bella Lestrange and Blue Westmead. Bally Amy checked off Wahlberg approaching the home turn. Blue Westmead checked off Bella Lestrange on the home turn. 

Dyna Brainiac was quick to begin.

Ricardo Bale and Bojack Kahn collided soon after the start. Thelma's Man checked off Rosie's Crusade approaching the first turn checking Spring Millie. Spring Millie, Spa Peter, Bojack Kahn and Ricardo Bale collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Thelma's Man and Rusty's Cape collided approaching the home turn. Spa Peter and Bojack Kahn collided approaching the home turn. Ricardo Bale checked off Bojack Kahn on the home turn. Spa Peter, Bojack Kahn and Ricardo Bale collided approaching the winning post. 

Dorothy Rawson was slow to begin.

Dorothy Rawson and El Bee Cee collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Satsuki Bale, Classy Flyer and Grand Slam Diva collided approaching the home turn severely checking Grand Slam Diva. Grand Slam Diva raced wide on the home turn. Dorothy Rawson checked off Satsuki Bale entering the home straight. 

Classy Flyer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Jaunty Bale and Spring Patsy collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds. Liam checked off Big Wolt on the home turn. Liam checked off Elfen Bale in the home straight. 

Sally Gardens, Money Come Back, Sam Harper, Hala Bale, Kilcolegan Cross and Peter Pettigrew collided soon after the start severely checking Hala Belle. Peter Pettigrew checked off Kilcolegan Cross on the first turn. Kilcolegan Cross checked off Dark Jameson entering the back straight. Dark Jameson checked off Sam Harper entering the back straight. Polly Bale raced wide on the home turn. Hala Belle checked off Kilcolegan Cross entering the home straight. Sally Gardens checked off Dark Jameson in the home straight. 

Tilla Bale was slow to begin.

Danny Darko, Ima Tomahawk, David John and Lektra Crash collided soon after the start checking David John and Lektra Crash. Tilla Bale and Kenju Bale collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Danny Darko checked off Nayla Swift approaching the homw turn. Tilla Bale checked off Kenju Bale approaching the home turn. Uncontrollable crossed to the outside on the home turn checking Uncontrollable and Ima Tomahawk. 

Red Hot Millions, Nockabout Aussie, Empire Allen and Specify collided soon after the start checking Nockabout Aussie, Empire Allen and Specify. Red Hot Millions and Dyna Fatbob collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Fatbob. Nockabout Aussie, Empire Allen and Specify collided on the first turn checking Nockabout Aussie. Red Hot Millions and Empire Allen collided in the home straight checking Red Hot Millions. 

All Over and Crackerjack Burn collided soon after the start. Ima River Boy, All Over and Crackerjack Burn collided approaching the first turn checking Ima River Boy. Toc Flyer, Wai Nui Lea and Dina Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Wai Nui Lea. Crackerjack Burn, Ima River Boy and All Over collided approaching the first turn checking Ima River Boy and All Over. Toc Flyer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Dailly, the handler of the greyhound Toc Flyer regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Toc Flyer with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr G. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Toc Flyer was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre race sample was taken form Blistering Bob.

Ulla Allen was quick to begin.

Blistering Bob, Pop Wright and Granville's Call collided approaching the first turn checking Pop Wright. Zelemar Zone and Ulla Allen collided approaching the first turn checking Zelemar Zone. Zelemar Zone checked off Santa's Serena on the first turn. Pop Wright, Zelemar Zone, Blistering Bob and Granville's Call collided on the first turn severely checking Granville's Call and Zelemar Zone. Zelemar Zone and Granville's Call collided approaching the home turn checking Granville's Call. 

Granville's Call was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right toe and split webbing. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Alchemist was slow to begin.

Neveah Beach, Splash Of White and Roman Baroque collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking Splash Of White and severely checking Neveah Beach. Neveah Beach checked off Chevy Spark in the home straight.

Coopnarcha and Schmoo collided on the first turn checking Coopnarcha. Va Va voom raced wide on the home turn. Psychotic Bob and Opus Bale collided in the home straight.
