Keegan's Jet and Oakmont Octum were slow to begin. Kayda Shae and Jasmine Lilly collided soon after the start. Run Riot checked off Fantasy Molly approaching the first turn. Fantasy Molly and Jasmine Lilly collided approaching the first turn checking Oakmont Octum. Keegan's Jet checked off Saint Oaks on the first turn. Jasmine Lilly, Fantasy Molly and Run Riot collided on the first turn checking Fantasy Molly and Jasmine Lilly. Fantasy Molly and Jasmine Lilly collided several times approaching the home turn.

See Him Next and Starvin'Seagull collided soon after the start. Toc Flyer checked off Horsham Myth on the first turn and collided with Ice Cossack. Starvin'Seagull stumbled on the first turn. Lynlea Jiddy and Horsham Myth collided on the first turn checking Horsham Myth, Toc Flyer and Ice Cossack. 

Starvin'Seagull was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left wrist and both pencil muscles, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Ice Cossack was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Kenju Bale was quick to begin. Maximum Maddy and Hawka Tron were slow to begin. Elbow Room, Hawka Tron and Demolition Guy collided soon after the start checking Hawka Tron and Demolition Guy. Maximum Maddy and Elbow Room collided approaching the first turn checking Elbow Room, Hawka Tron and Demolition Guy. Mepunga Atom and Dynamic Luke collided approaching the first turn checking Dynamic Luke. Hawka Tron and Demolition Guy collided on the first turn checking Hawka Tron. Maximum Maddy, Kenju Bale and Mepunga Atom collided on the first turn checking Kenju Bale, Mepunga Atom, Dynamic Luke and Demolition Guy. Hawka Tron and Kenju Bale collided on the home turn. Demolition Guy and Mepunga Atom collided on the home turn. Elbow Room checked off Mumbles Murray approaching the winning post. 

Wayfarer, Tankster and Blingsteen were quick to begin. Macburner and Pequeno Rayo collided soon after the start checking Macburner. Lynlea Jake and Blingsteen collided on the first turn. Pequeno Rayo and Lynlea Jake collided approaching the home turn checking Pequeno Rayo. Blingsteen checked off Pequeno Rayo in the home straight. 

Hurricane Ash was quick to begin. Our Zayney Nash and Dyna Lemmy collided soon after the start. Snapper's Mate, Karagiozis and Our Zayney Nash collided approaching the first turn. Authentic Ace and Karagiozis collided on the first turn checking Authentic Ace. Snapper's Mate and Hurricane Ash collided on the first turn. Our Zayney Nash and Dyna Lemmy collided approaching the home turn checking Our Zayney Nash and Authentic Ace. Dyna Lemmy and Hurricane Ash collided entering the home straight. 

Eroll Bale was quick to begin. Dyna Inca was slow to begin. Mepunga Nick and Bush Courage collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Mepunga Nick. Schmoo and Bush Courage collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Schmoo. Schmoo and Mepunga Nick collided approaching the winning post. 

Billie Higgs was a late scratching at 11.30am due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Classy Sparks and Old Jock were slow to begin. Bush Rebel and Elite Faze collided soon after the start.  Bush Rebel, Santa's Serena and Classy Sparks collided approaching the first turn, checking Classy Sparks, Santa's Serena and Ballistic Fire. Classy Sparks and Elite Faze collided on the home turn. Elite Faze checked off Say Again entering the home straight. Old Jock galloped on the heels of Elite Faze in the home straight.

Kifinti and Ima Harley collided soon after the start. Top Secret, Miss Top Gear, Specify and Tekki Yvettia collided soon after the start checking Miss Top Gear and Specify. Kifinti checked off Ima Harley approaching the first turn. Ima Harley checked off Elly's Dream on the first turn. Miss Top Gear and Specify collided on the first turn. Top Secret and Tekki Yvettia collided on the first turn checking Tekki Yvettia and Specify. Specify and Tekki Yvettia collided on the home turn. Ima Harley raced wide in the home straight. 

Molly Brown was slow to begin. Molly Brown checked off Arolok Jane soon after the start. Mighty Sam, Percy's Lad and Iona Boom Boom collided approaching the first turn. Mighty Sam, Percy's Lad, Iona Boom Boom and Arolok Jane collided on the first turn checking Arolok Jane. Rage Bale and Dust Maker collided on the first turn. Percy's Lad galloped on the heels of Mighty Sam on the first turn, severely checking Mighty Sam, Iona Boom Boom and Arolok Jane.

Arolok Jane was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the right front foot, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mighty Sam was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist and both pencil muscles, and spike wounds to the left hind leg, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Iona Boom Boom was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and left wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Bazzagrey and Cosmic Jewels collided soon after the start checking Bazzagrey. Gypsy Bling and Jack's Prince collided approaching the first turn. Ice Flicka, Terrorizer and Cosmic Jewels collided approaching the first turn checking Terrorizer and forcing Bazzagrey to race wide. Jack's Prince checked off the heels of Cruisen Billy approaching the home turn. Cruisen Billy, Jack's Prince and Bazzagrey raced wide in the home straight.

Evening In Paris, Hastag Danny and Superliner were quick to begin. Grand Slam Diva, Wez Gordy and Uncool Albert collided soon after the start checking Wez Gordy. Evening In Paris, Hastag Danny and Superliner collided on the first turn. Uncool Albert, Miss Trewvain and David John collided on the first turn checking Miss Trewvain and David John. Evening In Paris, Superliner and Hashtag Danny collided entering the home straight checking Hashtag Danny. Superliner eased in the home straight and collided several times with Evening In Paris, resulting in Evening In Paris being severely checked. Miss Trewvain, David John and Uncool Albert collided approaching the winning post.

Evening In Paris was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle and spike wounds to the back left leg, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Superliner was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist and right hip, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr.C.Hudson, the trainer of the greyhound Superliner regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Superliner with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Hudson pleaded guilty to the charge, Superliner was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and  Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
