Canya Rapid Fire - New declared weight of 35.2kg, last raced at 33.9kg.
Fashion Square was quick to begin. Aston Horizon was slow to begin.
Canya Rapid Fire (contacted inside running rail turning out of the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Aston Horizon (began losing ground turning out of the back straight and continued to lose ground thereafter) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Dewey Mac - unplaced in the event.
