Intex Bale – Late scratching at 7:44am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 77). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Dreaming Star – Late scratching at 7:45am on the advice of the On– Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a left wrist sprain injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Sandy Cabang and Zero Monster were quick to begin. Ace Redeemer was slow to begin.
Sandy Cabang (checked turning out of the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Zero Monster (contacted inside running rail turning into the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Georgie Bale - the winner of the event.
