Zipping Whincup and He Shines were slow to begin.
Nashville Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an infection. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Ms. Korie-Lee Heinrich regarding the greyhound pulling up prior to the return gate and failing to enter the catching pen. After hearing evidence from Ms. Heinrich, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards issued a warning.
