Rashid - Late scratching at 6:21pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to dehydration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

On High Alert (marred Buck Shines approaching the home turn) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Karen Pitt regarding On High Alert’s racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, On High Alert was charged with marring. Ms. Pitt pleaded guilty to the charge. On High Alert was suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
