Steward's Report
Boracay Storm and Nashville Bale were quick to begin.
Sicario Beast (checked and fell in the back straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left and right metacarpal spike wound and injuries to the left back muscle, thigh muscle and deltoid muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
It was noted that the muzzle of Sicario Beast became dislodged when falling.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Correy Grenfell regarding the racing manners of Eco Bale in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr. Grenfell, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, a warning was issued.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Boracay Storm – the winner of the event.
Due to a technical malfuction there was no head on vision available in the back straight for this event.
