Description, Shayna Bale and Matt Loch were quick to begin. Paw Utility was slow to begin.
Marlee Star [contacted the running rail and lost ground in the home straight] underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post–race urine sample was taken from Matt Loch – the winner of the event.
Due to a technical malfuction there was no head on vision available in the back straight for this event.
