The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Noddin Off and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11:18 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. J. Maple was fined the sum of $100.
Ravishing Rufus and Still Bluffing collided soon after the start. Lektra Star and Flyin' Les Fergi collided soon after the start. Still Bluffing checked off Ravishing Rufus on the first turn. Still Bluffing raced wide in the home straight. Lektra Star and Ravishing Rufus collided approaching the winning post.
