Tronathon was a late scratching at 3.27pm due to non arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period ws imposed.  Trainer Mr. G. Campbell was fined the sum of $100.

Cadillac Style and Renberg were slow to begin.  Mr. Charley Bear and Barada collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Sandfire and Amaroo Chaos collided approaching the first turn checking Amaroo Chaos.  Mr. Charley Bear and Amaroo Chaos collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds, Amaroo Chaos contacted the running rail as a result.  Sandfire and Cadillac Style collided on the first turn.  Sandfire was checked off Cadillac Style on the first turn.

Anna Ray Girl and Miss Spence were quick to begin.  Miss Spence faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off as a result.

Miss Spence was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a torn left monkey muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Fun Time Ally was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Kenyatta, Bolt On and Lepus Chaser were quick to begin.  Conspiracy and Lazza Mikado were slow to begin.  Noaki Hawk and Lepus Chaser collided soon after the start checking Conspiracy, Lepus Chaser and Noaki Hawk.  Noaki Hawk and Busta Voe collided on the first turn severely checking Busta Voe.  Kenyatta was checked off Bolt On on the first turn.  Radar Bandit was checked off Kenyatta on the home turn checking Noaki Hawk.  Conspiracy and Noaki Hawk collided in the home straight.

Lepus Chaser was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 6, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist and right stopper, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Nicki Fields was quick to begin.  Decanus and Opec Bale were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Acola Rosebud and Serash Bale collided soon after the start. Decanus and Opec Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Opec Bale.  Acola Rosebud, Serash Bale and Rockabilly King collided on the first turn.  Rockabilly King was checked off Decanus on the second turn.  Decanus and Serash Bale collided approaching the third turn checking Decanus.  Serash Bale and Decanus collided approaching the winning post.

Bailey Rose was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured neck and grazes to the left foreleg, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Decanus was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained grazes on the left hind leg, no stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. K. Chalker the trainer of Decanus regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.

Mrs. G. Elston the trainer of Loyalty Unite Us redeclared a new weight of 30.2kg for the greyhound in accordance wtih GR 39(2).  Loyalty Unit Us last raced at 31.6kg.

Hard Urned Burst and Senor Gold were slow to begin.  Loyalty Unite Us, Gifted Man and Hard Urned Burst collided soon after the start checking Loyalty Unite Us.  Juan Diego and Hard Urned Burst collided approaching the first turn checking Juan Diego.  Loyalty Unite Us and Gifted Man collided approaching the first turn and again approaching the home turn.

Usaine, Cette Away and Fury Bale were slow to begin.  Fury Bale and Cette Away collided approaching the first turn checking Cette Away.  Miss Society was checked off Exquisitus approaching the home turn.  Exquisitus and Yanick Allen raced wide in the home straight.

Tenebrae and Stealthy Blonde were quick to begin.  Hestia Bale and Just Go Bang were slow to begin.  Just Go Bang, Brooklyn Cruiser and Acola Magic collided soon after the start.  Brooklyn Cruiser was checked off Hestia Bale approaching the first turn.  Choclotto and Acola Magic collided approaching the first turn.  Just Go Bang and Acola Magic collided on the first turn checking Just Go Bang.  Tenebrae and Stealthy Blonde collided on the first turn checking Stealthy Blonde.  Choclotto raced wide in the home straight.

Dingo Bale was slow to begin.  Heston Lodge was checked off He's Panicken soon after the start.  Dingo Bale, Heston Lodge, Cruiser Sunday and Diamond Ed collided on the first turn checking Heston Lodge and severely checking Diamond Ed and Cruiser Sunday.

Mr. B. Toner the trainer of Denzel redeclared a new weight of 34.7kg for the greyhound in accordance wtih GR 39(2).  Denzel last raced at 35.9kg.

Denzel and Beau West were slow to begin.  Buckle Up Louis and Knocka's Choir collided approaching the first turn checking Buckle Up Louis.  Ginger Pieces and Pod's Elect collided approaching the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Captain Cotchie was checked off In A Daze on the first turn checking Buckle Up Louis.  In A Daze, Captain Cotchie and Buckle Up Louis collided in the home straight checking Captain Cotchie and Buckle Up Louis.  In A Daze raced wide in the home straight.

Buckle Up Brett was slow to begin.  Buckle Up Brett and Kynan's Magic collided soon after the start.  Kynan's Magic and Silver Rockstar collided approaching the first turn. Tub's Rocket and Buckle Up Brett collided approaching the first turn.  Dark Saga, Golden Meleni and Blingsteen collided on the first turn checking Golden Meleni.  Tub's Rocket and Buckle Up Brett collided on the first turn checking Buckle Up Brett.  Dark Saga was checked off Tub's Rocket in the home straight.

Satisfactory Weight Trial:- Aston Josh trialled over the 460 metres from box 1, weight 32.4kg, the greyhound was placed first in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 26.74 secs, the greyhound won by a margin of 1/2 length.  Aston Josh was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial/Satisfactory Weight Trial:- Sparcia trialled over the 460 metres from box 3, weight 26.4kg, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 26.74 secs, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 6.1/4 lengths.  Sparcia was cleared.
