The start of the event was rescheduled to 11:17pm.
Evie Jane was slow to begin. Coulta Rock crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Echelonic Action, Zipping Maggie and Ralphy Cinel. Echelonic Action and Luna Jinx collided approaching the second turn. Evie Jane checked off Luna Jinx on the second turn. Luna Jinx checked off Ralphy Cinel approaching the home turn. Ralphy Cinel checked off Zipping Maggie in the home straight checking Evie Jane.
Evie Jane was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the back muscle, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
