Steward's Report
Thermal Smoke and Zipping Velma were slow to begin. Auntie Amber was very slow to begin.
Crackerjack Reed underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following Race 8. Crackerjack Reed was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr. Jordan Cooper regarding Crackerjack Reed’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Crackerjack Reed was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Cooper pleaded guilty to the charge. Crackerjack Reed must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
